Little muddy but great hike
Didn’t quite make it.... long slow burn and then... more burn but faster. Forest road all the way, but it wasn’t bad - level and not much boulder-type gravel. Will reattempt.
Absolutely amazing choice! Great to get heart rate up and just stunning views. Easily one of my favorites now.
The road is muddy but it’s worth it.
Beautiful little creek along path. nice Puget sound viee.
Good packed snow, could use spikes instead of snowshoes just fine. Not busy on a Thursday afternoon.
Too many people
Great beginner hike! The first .24 mile is the hardest part due to the incline if you are real out of shape but take your time it gets easier from there and the falls are beautiful!!!!
Great trail!
Nice walk along the river, although trail was pretty muddy in spots.
We got on the trail about 9a and while there were cars, there weren't many people ahead of us. Because of the snow, the road was essentially 1 lane. Also we had to turn around so we would be going the right direction to leave. There was not much room to do this. The lake was pretty as it was all covered in snow and some blue skies peeping through. The weather was totally fine as was the trail. Snowshoes were needed this early as the trail wasn't packed yet. Cars were getting stuck on the way out. DOT had closed the road while we were there. But there was parking before you got to the snow park which isn't far, but I'm not sure how much millage it would add.
Good trail, all paved and so easy to traverse. Steep hill at either end, but worth it for the beautiful view of the Puget Sound and Olympic mountains.
this is a beautiful little hike when you actually explore and go off trail. these people who said there is no ghost town didn't do that at all. There are ruins all along this trail. Even some beautiful spots by the river. This trail is best enjoyed in the spring when the water is blue and crisp. Do watch out for poison ivy.
Nice family trail with beautiful falls except in the summer the falls dry up a lot.
Great home with awesome company. A little muddy.
