Hiked on Sunday Jan 13. Arrived late around 10:30am and parked at high school. Not much to see on the way up - it’s a well-maintained trail with some traffic but not too crowded. Great workout, definitely on the moderate side as it gets steep 1/3 of the way in. The reward at the top is worth it - beautiful views surround you and everyone is basking in the sun and enjoying the scenery. Wonderful place to relax and eat lunch. Also saw a paraglider take off! Some parts of the trail were slightly muddy or had downed trees to climb over/under, but nothing strenuous aside from the climb up.

Great view. You might even catch someone jumping off!

Best experience of my life. Was my first overnight hike and was worth it. I recommend being somewhat experienced. We had a group of 5 people and 1 dog, and went around August 6th-7th of 2018. This is a pretty hard hike, but very very rewarding. I would recommend this hike to anyone. You will not regret it, Absolutely beautiful, and literally will have your breath taken away from you every single step. I also would say to pack the extra weight and pitch a tent at the top. One of the best parts was watching the stars at night, absolutely stunning. This hike can provide you to get so close with the people you go up with. Theres a big bonus If your into fishing! There is an unlimited amount of cutthroat trout up there and is extremely cool to watch them hit your lure in the crystal clear water. The hike will make you super hot, but the best feeling is jumping in the glacier water while taking a break. I recommend everyone to take the trek up to robin lake after getting to tuk lake, even if it is difficult and confusing. I also recommend going in the summer time so you can have great weather with out getting cold, and having amazing, clear, and beautiful days out there. Once we got to the top of robin lake we even got enough service of AT&T to FaceTime our parents to share the view! Amazing views of Mt Daniel and Cathedral Rock are available throughout the whole hike, as long as it’s clear. Along the lower parts of the trail, there is an abundance of blueberries that you can snack on on the way up. 11/10 experience and literally would die to go up there again. Be safe up there everyone

Hiked it this morning and the only issue was about 7-8 fallen trees from the wind storm on 1/6/19. Some of them are big enough that you can't crawl under them but you can barely go over!

The snow started about 2/3 of the way up and gets thicker and thicker, but the trail is fairly clear with just some muddy spots. Probably around 3-4 inches total once you're at the top. If you start at Issaquah High School you can see the school from the summit which is pretty great.

Only a handful of other people on the trail today!

We lucked out and didnt have any rain while we hiked, but if it did I can see a lot of spots were one might slip easily. The view from the top is totally worth it! We parked by the high school, but there is a max of 7 cars that can park there.

Very good trail, would definitely do it again! Easy hike with young kids. Our 4 year olds walked the whole two miles and our 6 year olds said it wasn’t long enough. I suggest getting there early we showed up at about 10:30am and ran into a few big groups and a few individuals, however the parking lot was full when we got back and was filling on the side of the roads.

Fun and semi easy 2 mile hike. Beautiful waterfall, but to get to the bottom of this fall, you will have to go down the steps at the end of the hike. There’s a nice waterfall half way up, which will definitely add value to the hike.

Super short and easy hike with a decent two tiered waterfall at the end. I recommend only going if you combine this outing with another hike in the Gorge, for example the Latourell falls.

The hike was beautiful. My girlfriend and I hiked this trail during the summer and enjoyed every bit of the views and nature. We personally enjoyed the upper falls better than the lower falls on the loop trail due to the fact that there were a lot less people and you could just get a lot closer. The trail itself had a couple look out points which made it that much more rewarding. Both are beautiful falls though.

If you don't like edges, don't do this waterfall hike!!

Great way to end 2018. Not crowded and weather great. Not sure what the correct distance is BUT MapmyRun said 3.07 miles OW (which made the most sense). Definitely NOT 3.8 miles or more one way. Like this longer distance alternative to the shorter steeper Chirico Trail.

Took about an hour and a half. Took my time and enjoyed the beauty of the trail. The part of the trail on the other side of the main road is paved, but the trail that loops above the waterfall is dirt. I encountered several families that were enjoying themselves. There are definitely opportunities to get too close to an edge, but there seemed to be adequate precautions to prevent that from happening. I will definitely be doing this hike again.

Way too crowded, especially just trying to park. Views at the top are spectacular and lucky you if there are paragliders at the top. Maybe try to go on an off day to avoid lots of people.

In terms of day hikes, this one is was tough. Bring water

Great hike, not a workout at all.

Very easy hike with a great reward at the end. Only lasts about 25 minutes tops. Right now it is very muddy and wet, but slickness is not an issue.

The directions in this app tell you that you are there before you are. Just keep going on the road and you will come to a parking lot. We took the loop starting on the left of the first waterfall. It's steep at first but not as steep as the other side. I was surprised that there were so many people there on Christmas day and can just imagine how busy it would be on a sunny day. we had to park outside the parking lot. nice waterfalls for a short trail.

Very easy and simple trail. The waterfall is amazing and the loop takes you down to the base. Went on Xmas so virtually nobody else on the trail. Not too muddy after the rain. Parking lot small, so I could see it being challenging on a regular day.

Butt kicker! Thighs & glutes callin! Awesome!
The view at the top is speechless on a good clear day! One of my fav local hikes

nice hike with beautiful views..

This is a great trail with spectacular views at the top, unfortunately though, and apparently like several other trails on Mountain Loop Highway, trailhead security is poor. Had a great hike in the snow on Mount Dickerman Saturday Dec. 15, marred by discovering car had been broken into. Back window smashed, all bags and gear stolen from back storage area of car. Best guess is it happened around 3 p.m. I’ve heard about this happening at other trailheads on Mountain Loop Highway. The trails in the area are great, unfortunately safety at the trailheads is lacking.

This was a very nice hike. Incline at first but not too bad. The upper Falls is really beautiful.
Short hike, not too hard

Great hike, beautiful falls. Well marked

amazing view in the top.

Lots of snow; knee deep and yellow in some places now. Missed a few turns on the way up due to having no clue where the path was and my boyfriend thinking he’s Lewis and Clark status. Made it to the top of Kelly Butte hill, but not the lookout.

Will return in the spring.

Totally “socked-in” on Saturday December 8th. This hike is no joke! Killer on the knees. We only needed microspikes and poles starting around the 2.5 mile mark, however with the predicted snow this week, this would easily become a very difficult snow shoe. Avalanche danger is high here, so be sure to check that avy stats before you go or come prepared with adequate training.

Did the old trail up and new trail down on Friday 12/07. This past week the weather was amazing so the hike was great. Started hitting light snow about 3,400 feet which increased with elevation.
Was all packed down though some parts were a little icy. I went without spikes or poles which would have been nice but not a necessity yet. The old trail up was definitely a challenge. I made it to the mailbox in 1:50 so I was hauling. The way down on the new trail took about 2:25 as I was taking my time but could definitely be done faster. Very rewarding hike!!

can only get to about 1.5 miles from the trailhead with four-wheel drive there is quite a bit of icy packed snow. went on a really beautiful day and was not disappointed by the views just a little bummed that I didn't get to complete the hike
