Short and easy. Steps down to falls. A few stopping points for photos. You’re able to easily go under the falls which is definitely a highlight.

Short hike ; Beautiful scenery ; The walk behind the falls is a MUST experience. Great for all ages!

It’s beautiful. The waterfall is nice. There are human made stairs to get down to and behind the waterfall. But could definitely be longer. Great for children and older adults.

This is the area to take people who don’t quite appreciate trails. It’s short, easy, and provides a lot of wow. This entire area is loved by countless volunteers continuously making this an area for everyone to enjoy. The waterfall is great and you can even safely walk behind it. Great for kids, adults, and pets.

Decent amount of elevation for a local hike. Only a few others out on a sunny mid April day. We’ll be back.

Must say what a great walk. The path is great with trash every mile and port a potty’s for the call of the wild. I highly recommend this walk it’s brilliant.

Had a good Sunday hike at this local park. Flat and easy but only a few others on the trail. Not a great time of year for scenery (early April).

this trail is NOT moderate, very, very easy..... a bit too boring for my tastes. very flat, almost paved. careful when it snows/rains, parts of the path get quite flooded.

It was a nice short hike for me but I did get confused when I came off the trail onto a road with cabins.... turns out I needed to follow the road just a short ways down to get back on the trail.

great location. swarms of bugs in the warmer months.

trail running

Really nice run and a very easy to follow trail. I went on a warm day in January so it was pretty muddy.

A hidden Gem. I’ve lived with 30 Mins of this hike for over 20 years. Recently my cousin and I went and hiked the white trail. It travels through multiple ecosystems and has some older growth cedar glens (not very common in this area). There are good elevation gains in section. The design of the trail is outstanding. Traffic on the trail was light. I would be surprised if you see any trash on the trails very pristine and well maintained. Only gripe was dog owners pick up there poo!

For a local trail I was pretty impressed.

Beautiful place, nice overlooks, easy quick hike.
I had my four kids (7, 4, and twin 2 1/2 year olds) They had a great time!
Taking the trail behind the waterfall is worth doing

Nice easy hike after the initial rocky start. Better view and spirit than Beam Rocks.

Nice, mostly flat hike to a fantastic overlook. Roads to the trailhead parking lot are rough. I entered the GPS coordinates for the trailhead into my car's GPS, and it ended up taking me down a series of gravel roads until the road became someone's private driveway. I had to turn around and try a different direction until I was rerouted onto Laurel Summit Rd.

Beautiful trail! Usually quiet and you will not run into many others on the trail. I've done this trail with young children and their grandfather. there are a few steep sections, but everyone enjoyed the hike

Good trail appropriately classified as moderate with elevation changes. It is a long trail through the woods where you rarely cross any roads or see civilization. However, it is pretty well marked with several escape routes before the end if you want to cut it short and you are never far from the park roads.

I hike this regularly as I live only an hour away and it does not get old since you can alter it a bit each time. On this particular time I did 7 miles out and looped back to the paved walk way at the marina which I took back to car for a total of 14 miles.

I rarely see people on this trail so it is a nice getaway.

Lots of rocks but a nice little trail with some great views

This is a very nice 5.1 mile brisk walk around the reservoir and thru the woods on a very wide trail. Lots of mountain bikers are there so walk to the right so they can pass

Great place to get lost! We lost track of the trail markers and just kept going on the path until we couldn't go any further. At which point we turned around and got lost, getting tangled in many thornbushes, trees, shrubs and dog leashes in the process of trying to find the trail again. At one point we thought we were lost forever and would starve to death within a mile of many busy roads that we could hear but not see. And then we had the brilliant idea to let the border collie off leash and he found the trail for us. All around, an A+ experience!

It was a serene hike and not very busy great view to hike to but be careful once you get to the rocks no safety net watch where you step lots of tree roots and rocks

This was one of the best hikes that we had all year long. First I must say The trail was well maintained really good ground to walk on
On our journey we seen deer and birds wild flowers and trees that lead us along a grassy path down to lake Arthur where you can view the beach and boat launch as the path loops around and back up to the parking area.
Well worth your time to hike it.

Fantastic in and out hike. This is my go to option when I have a few hours on a weekend or something. The view from the rocks is beautiful year round and the actual hike is very doable. Long stretches of laurel and rhododendron tunnels. Long stretches of ferns which look beautiful in the fall when they change to yellow. Grab a book and head out for a few hours on the rocks, but be careful for rattler snakes in the colder months, they sun themselves on the rocks!

Awsome view

If you prefer a flat trail, this is for you! Will I be back? Of course. Is it a challenging trail? Not at all. This trail is lovely. You will feel as though you're walking along a flower garden. You will also walk along the lake.

If you're taking small children on a walk, you will love this. If you're unsure about beginning a hike due to your physical limitations - give this a try. Whatever you do - just get outside!

Great trail! The loop is pretty rocky however, so be prepared to watch where your feet are falling, but the trail portion is well groomed and significantly less full of rocks, and the view at the overlook portion is absolutely fantastic, maybe one of the best overlooks in West PA and it blows away Beams Rocks for sure!
