Very pretty, but I went on a Tuesday and it was still crowded as all get out

The Wave is a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Our permits were for late March. The weather was perfect, it drizzled at times which kept the temperature perfect. We didn't use a compass or GPS... probably would've found it faster if we had. It was a rough hike for the non-hiker in the group.

Can’t say enough about Bryce Canyon. It’s simply one of the more beautiful natural spectacles in the United States. This trail, specifically, is one of the most popular, giving you the best views on a simple, short hike.

Beautiful and majestic! Hard to describe the views and rocks, definitely lived up to its name "fairyland" as it had a certain magical quality to it.

Amazing! Easy hike but be very very careful with navigation, you can get lost easily.

lovely walk with a nice view...best of the whole family with little kids. love this trail.

How do you get to the trailhead with the construction going on?

One of our favorites! Our boys (8 & 10 yrs old) loved the challenges with the ropes and never shy away from some good bouldering. They are very experienced hikers though. Make sure your children are up for a challenge and that you can assist down and up the ropes if you plan to bring them. One rope in particular is hanging over water and was not possible for them to traverse but it was only a 6ft drop that we were able to lower them down. Be smart, bring lots of water! Canyon temps run about 15deg higher then Vegas temps. There is an awesome fill station with supplies (salt, sugar, potassium) and instructions about 25 mins into the hike to make a "sports drink". All around amazing hike!

Beautiful

An absolute blast with kids!!! Our girls are 6 and 9, they couldn’t stop smiling and laughing. Renting dry gear is a must. Try to go early in the morning to avoid crowds.

This was a hike that was beautiful and a good workout that ended at one of the most beautiful natural shrines I have seen. A highlight on a trip full of great hikes!

Recommend you do the loop in anti clockwise direction going down the Navajo trail.

Visiting the Vegas area and this hike ranks top three as the best we’ve ever done. This *did* kick our a$$es (and scraped/bruised elbows, knees, shins, etc). We brought just enough water and snacks in small bags, and were thankful for gloves. Other hikers on the trail were courteous and friendly, and helpful to others who needed help up/down a climb. The views were amazing throughout, and the hot pools were fun to explore. Colorado River was a great mid-hike cool down- take advantage of it before starting back. We will definitely do this one again next time we’re in the area!

Came here on Friday the 13th. Amazing views before descending down the switchbacks. Went from sunset point to Navajo loop and connected to queens garden. Wall Street side was closed as of the 13th.

We absolutely loved this hike!! Right from the start it was awesome! The flowers are blooming everywhere and its gorgeous against the dark canyon walls. It’s not to far until you reach the first hot spring but they are spread out throughout the hike. We had so much fun using the ropes. Another Bonus is the trail leads to the Colorado River! Have fun, bring lots of water.

wowoowowowowowow that was the coolest thing I did at the Grand canyon, definitely strenuous and took me 7 hours I'm somewhat in shape and I was sore the day after, bring a loooot of water not for beginners I'd say especially in hot weather

We only was able to see the upper part , the lower hike was canceled because was to windy and rocks were coming down.
The experience was amazing, the whole canyon is Soooo beautiful. Be prepared to be surrounded with a lot of other hikers, it is challenging to take pictures and we got rained with sand because of the wind. Cover your camera from the sand.

One of our favorites! Our kids (8 & 10) are experienced hikers and handled it well. Definitely a challenge but well worth it.

Hiked through both a day after a pretty big rain. It was already dried out just a few puddles. Total time from Escalante was 5 hrs, 1 hrs drive each way and about 3 hrs to do both canyons and the alternate one as you get to the bottom of the wash. Peekaboo had a moderately challenging rock scramble to get into but was otherwise fun and quick. Follow the cairns to find spooky at the end of a wide sandy wash. Spooky is narrow, tight and longer. I'm not sure how it would work if it was crowded in there had to take my small pack off for about half of the canyon. Hit peek first then spooky and have fun.

Good hike, not quite breathtaking like others at Zion, but still a great hike along the river.

one of our all time favorites. takes some time to drive the 26 mile dirt rd to the trail head, but worth every bump and other trails u can hit along the way. We were lucky to find someone on the trail who had been her before, not always clear where the trailhead begins, and some distance between the two slot canyons in this area, so get good maps to aid you.

far and away our favorite hike of all National parks. Hiking poles are a great help along with neoprene socks, but all the other gear they try to sell you isn't necessary in my opinion. We bought $17 dollar water shoes from Wal-Mart that did the trick, so unless you expect to do alot of water hiking, cheaper can get the job done, plus you have something to keep as opposed to renting. be sure to go up about 2 miles to get to the better parts and begin to leave the masses behind.

We went this morning little after 9am. No problem with parking. It was already getting crowded with many hikers. I would suggest to walk to the right and climb the rocks, to get away from crowds, and enjoy the view in quite atmosphere.
Views from the top are amazing and worth it the hike.
There is no railings so keep your kids and dogs near you. They are building new trails and look out.

It’s about 45min walk with absolutely amazing rock formations and colors to watch... one of the most enchanted places I’ve seen so far...

Incredible!!!

I've done this hike over a dozen times it's a very nice workout hike. I do recommend for those that are not familiar with the hike to bring a small backpack water snacks and definitely some gloves and do come early. be prepared and be safe so you can enjoy other bikes from there on.

Great hike many many great views. Definitely worth the drive. Temperature throughout the day was perfect.

Trail was a bit more up and down, especially at the end, than we expected. It was almost easier to walk in the creek bed than the trail in most spots. Once we got to the top, it was terrific. You could spend a few hours exploring all over, not just the toadstools. Oh, we are 71 and 68 years old too.
