Stay to the left at the end and keep climbing, excellent views of the strip.

Definitely a good workout and the risk is well worth the reward in the end!

great place to hike

I’ve done this hike almost a dozen times, it’s my favorite to bring friends to when they come visit Vegas. The rock scrambling and lack of clear path makes it very dynamic, and the views both during and at the very end are just amazing. There’s a rock I just lay down on at the very end, letting me cloud gaze while getting the best view of the city. Best trail honestly.

Great hike at night. Plan on 8 miles down to the lower spring. Well worth it.

Definitely hard but still doable! Totally worth it, must get in the springs & go to the lake. So beautiful & relaxing before the hike back

Awesome !!! It’s a 3hrs to get all the way down to the lake and another 3 hrs back ... 8 miles in total

Great hike! Did the whole loop, 3 good size hot spring pools.

Not too challenging! Beautiful views!

Great hike for all ages! Some technical areas, bouldering, ropes in place. Heavily trafficked.

Fun trail. The hot springs are a really cool feature. I hiked this in October and the weather was perfect. I also hiked out to the overview.

great hike and awesome hot springs!

5 star hike, perfect hike to go with your family or amateurs hikers. Nice views at the end of the trail.

Lots of people. Trail not greatly marked. Doesn’t really have an “end” to the trail. Saw rock climbers which was fun. Would recommend.

Great trail, first time bouldering! Back snacks and enough water. Gloves for climbing rocks helpful.

Nice hike took my wife and I 1 hour to get to top. Great views of Vegas. My 50th birthday hike. Life is GREAT!

Neat trial heavily traveled. Just about right for my wife and I. My 50th birthday and made it to the top in 1 hour. Great view of Vegas!

This hike was fantastic! It’s my favorite hike I’ve ever done, actually. Make sure you bring a lot of water (1 gallon per person). It has a nice parking area and you begin the hike under an overpass. We took the south route down and the same route back as we struggled to find the other portion of the loop (and the map at the parking lot is confusing as it’s upside down), but the south route was great. This meant we went through the hot springs twice, which was fun. Hot water, stunning scenery and incredible slot canyons. Bring extra shoes and be prepared to get wet up to your knees. We made the whole loop in about 3 hours, and we were moving pretty fast. Absolutely worth it. Can’t wait to do this again.

Best Hike in Las Vegas!!! Moderate-Diff Intensity Hike but VERY worth it at the end. BRING a small backpack with swim or hot tub gear and WATER & SNACKS for when you get to the end but pack light ;)

This was an awesome hike I did on Saturday morning. I would highly recommend this hike if you are in great shape because it can get hot you have to carry your own water. Different places on the trail can have more or less people on it someplace is your buyer self other places it’s congested. Get there as early as you can the views are spectacular specially at the end of the trail.

Went through this trail head today at about 10 o’clock. The parking lot was already pretty crowded and there were plenty of hikers on the trail on the way up to the tanks just take your time and you’ll have an amazing view at the end. Plenty of spaces for you to sit and relax and enjoy the view before you head back. I was even able to see a tarantula crossing the path in front of me which was a bonus.

Trail starts a little bland, but turns into a steep decline and slot canyon, and quickly into three retained hot spring pools. The first is very hot, the second is comfortably hot, and the last (before the ladder) is nice. After the ladder is a short stint to the river with campable beach spots. Great hike!

Went last week (October 2018); fun bouldering, slot canyon, springs and river access. Plus some hidden spots that are fun to find.

Had a blast today! Even though the trail is really short the views are amazing & it goes down to these great little lagoons. My dog Annie is a total water baby & had a blast swimming all day! We had the whole place to ourselves!

Great hike and workout

Worth the trek, bring more water than you think you need. Also bring either a change of shoes or water shoes, it makes a difference on your poor feet! One of the coolest hikes I’ve done in the Las Vegas area and I’ve lived here for 18 years now. A somewhat hidden gem! I can’t wait to go back & pitch a tent by the river / hot springs!

Very good hike with endless possibilities to climb out of the canyon to get great views of the strip!!

Enjoyed the bouldering, went w/gr8 company, love that it went to the river. I'll do it at least once more and have recommended it. Sad about the the garbage but that's probably inevitable.

Amazingggggg hike. A true gem really. The canyon is beautiful. Some bigger climbs down on the trail which can be somewhat strenuous for solo hikers. The canyon can get pretty chilly this time of year through the narrows if the canyon so you may bring a jacket just in case. Beware the trails are somewhat hard to read due to no signs but you can keep track by footprints along the path. Enjoy!
