beautiful in fall

Great views, lighting was perfect against the mountains in the morning. Fall weather was perfect-cool, but sunny. Trail is fairly narrow and a little overgrown thanks to recent rains. Saw three different tarantulas.

Easy to get to, but be sure you have your state park pass or pay the parking fee. Once you're on the trail, be ready for some steep climbs at first!

Good hike to do, specially after if rainfall to be able to see waterfall. Also easy enough to hike not too strenuous. Enjoyed it.

Did this hike late in October , spectacular scenery and streams were running from recent rain , go to the left at beginning of loop , other hikers told us this too and it seemed like the better way , took us 3 hours to complete , not in a hurry cause we were taking lots of Pics

This is our kids favorite trail to hike.

Fantastic trail!!

Enjoyable hike with pretty views. Trail is well-marked. It is uphill for the first half, but not too steep or difficult. We finished in about 3 hours going at a leisurely place and stopping for lots of pics.

My friend and I attempted this trail on 10/15, but only ended up making it to the saddle due to time constraints and because we were pretty much smoked by the time we got there :) We used the AllTrails map and did not have any navigation issues. There are a few stray trails in the lower desert portion, but the cairns will generally keep you on track. Take everyone’s advice and wear pants as the trail is very narrow with a lot of cacti and other prickly plants along the way. Lots of scrambling and very steep once you get to the mountain. Also lots of loose rock, so you have to be careful on the way down. We enjoyed the portion of the trail we did, but come prepared for a workout!

Awesome views and trail. Bring your water did this early and enjoyed the sunrise. Bit of a challenge but trail in good condition.

One of the most beautiful trails in Aguirre Springs. Although it was a rainy day, we enjoyed a lot the astonishing vistas of the pine tree forest and the rock formations, a wonderful landscape!

Whenever I have to go through CRC on Bliss, I always make time for this trail. I’ve done it from the Transmountain Drive side, as well as the McKelligon Canyon side. Both are equally difficult. The main goal is to always reach the Window. Lots of steep uphills from both sides to get to it, but the payoff is worth the pain. I usually spend 4 or 5 hours playing around these peaks, as there is a lot of view to take in. Bring plenty of water, and watch for loose rock. The towers up on top make a great place to rest, as you can sit on the edge of a sheer cliff overlooking El Paso a couple thousand feet below. GREAT TRAIL!

Great hike. 2 1/2 hours stopping for lots of pictures. Take breaks! went early saw the sunrise on the drive to and that alone worth it. Not a soul around, nice. Wear hike boots.

This was our first hike as a family and we loved it! Beautiful scenery and not too hard, though I'd definitely recommend wearing good shoes. The waterfalls and Stone ruin are so worth it! We saw a variety of birds and have seen Mule Deer every time so far. Well traveled trail, but very Rocky in places.

Tip: if you're going after the waterfall and Stone house, follow the trail to the LEFT until AFTER the bench...we went RIGHT at the first fork and ended up going the LONG way around haha

why pay $5 for dripping springs when you can come right next door to soledad canyon for free?! it has better views and a better waterfall as well. I highly recommend this trail.

Was an awesome trail, the only downfall is the trail is hard to follow. There was blue spray paint every now and then which indicates the trail. Definitely recommend if in the El Paso area.

This is the second time I've hiked this trail. So beautiful at sunrise, just remember a light of some sort! a few challenging spots but just take it slow there and you'll be good!

We parked at Camelot Estates and it was exactly 3 miles to the first little rock house and back.

A beautiful hike, with tremendous views and really fun in the technical section (I would skip using the chains and simply climb up using the natural hand-holds). I've done it in both directions and prefer starting in McKelligon Canyon and ending at Trans-mountain road (the decent into the wash at Trans is a bit loose at the top but manageable). 2.5hrs start to finish, at an easy pace, but bring water as it can get hot!

Btw, we did manage to do it with one car, by having an Uber pick us up and bring us back to the start...

Great hike, make sure you have 5 dollars exactly to pay for parking at the station, it has to be left in an envelope. It's very easy to get off the trail, so pay attention.

God is good !!!

Moderate hike for me. The views up there are breathtaking. I came on a Thursday were they said it was close but they are always upen for hikes. The store is the one closed.
First time in El Paso but I loved it

Extremely beautiful views. New to the area, first trail hiked here. Great work out. I loved using the metal chains to climb up and down seemingly impassible rock formations. Not for children.

Beautiful scenery! Great to do early in the AM. Some parts were strenuous, but overall good hike! Breathtaking view at the highest elevation.

Awesome trail! Great one to do early in the AM and to take visiting friends and family. I'd go on it again.

A bit confusing on how to actual reach trailhead. I would suggest stopping by the visitor center first and taking a picture of the map that they have at the front desk to help orient yourself. Also there were a lot of bugs so I would suggest covering in some bug spray or you will be covered in them. Overall, fun hike . Would love to do it again!!
