Fantastic hike! Gorgeous vistas, well maintained trail, but not a stroll in the park. Challenging and fun!

Nice, easy hike. If you feel adventurous you can get off the beaten path and explore a couple of caves along the way. Some of the cave hikes are quite a bit harder with steep inclines, loose gravel and some scrambling required.

BEAUTIFUL hike. Very well maintained and marked. You get to see some old ruins of camps and a hotel that used to be up here. Very neat. This is a National Park so there is a $5 fee but it was well worth it. The hike up is a little harder, it’s a steady incline until you get to the springs so it’s all down hill coming back. Trail is a gravel path that is very wide and easy walking.

Beautiful trail, pictures are fantastic from any angle. Can be a little trying if you’re a newbie like me but totally worth it.

Jeep road, cows. no shade, watch out for free roaming bull.

Great weather, peaceful and serene. Great way to spend a spring morning.

Excellent trail for running. There is plenty of shade and a waterfall. I'll make this one of my regular run spots.

Beautiful views! The Spring wasn’t so impressive, but the landscape was. Plus, several trails lead into one another, making the adventure endless if you desire. Great experience!

This is my favorite trail in the Organs. Best in late summer.

Neat hike, not to challenging. Beautiful scenery and very nice welcome center. The volunteers were fantastic!

Very enjoyable place!

Beautiful views, even better after a rain shower!

Very cool place! The Van Patten mtn camp and Boyd Sanatorium. Must see!

We loved this hike! It wasn't too hard or too easy, it has a good mix of terrain & views. There is plenty of shade. I recommend going early cuz the sun was over the other side of the mountain around 2pm. There was still ice & a little running water. Did this with a 4 year old also. There were several good areas to sit for a picnic especially around the halfway mark.

Nice 3.5 hour walk, not hard at all proven you only carry a small pack, there are a couple of drippings almost to the top, where most pines are, will try it again in spring.

Beautiful Hike. Can't wait to take my mom and dad here!! Took about 2 hours.

Pretty cool! Nice views. Restroom near the top was clean. We plan to go back in the spring.

A perennial favorite of ours. It takes my family about three hours, taking several breaks along the way. Could easily be done in an hour or two if you move at a brisk pace. Very enjoyable views, and a decent elevation difference. You'll experience several different biomes on the trail as you move up and back down in elevation.

This is my favorite hike in the organ mountains. The views of the mountain are incredible. So many photo opps and a nice long hike with lots of different terrain. We had the pleasure of seeing a Tarantula too

Short hike but very cool! The "waterfall" wasn't crazy but it was quite beautiful

10/10 would recommend. The trail offered lots of views from the canyons, the waterfall and the mountains (if you are willing to go off trail and climb some boulders). We were there on an early Sunday morning and basically had the whole place to ourselves. Late afternoon we headed back and the trails started to get more packed and the parking lot was full. The trail is a very loose rock/gravel so make sure you have a good supportive shoe. We saw a couple of mule deer and really enjoyed our time there.

Nice views. Gravel trail.

Really fun trail ! A lot of poop on the trail, so watch your step lol.

This was an ass kicker! It’s an amazing hike to the peak of the Organs, but it is a very physically demanding and in your face hike up and down. It is definitely worth the challenge, but it is not for the weak minded and out of shape.

This was an all day adventure for us. We started early when gates opened and came down as the sun was setting. We took our time and it took us 7-8 hours. Bring plenty of food and water, good hiking boots, and pants. Keep eyes open for cairns to guide way up and down. It’s easy to sway off course. Use of recording on this app helped enormously. Plan for some celebratory beers afterwards. Gonna need them!!!

Beautiful scenery but gets a little less child friendly towards the end. You still get a good long hike our of it though. Definitely recommend it.

I was surprised to find ice at the half way point. Was a wonderful hike. Plan to be in the shade for most of the hike, the sun was already hidden on the other side of the mountains by 1:30.

Took our time hiking the trail, yesterday. That being said, we got started at 8 AM and we were back at the truck just before 6 PM. Lots of great views and some challenging scrambling. It was a Saturday and we saw three other pairs of people hiking the trail.

Great hike
