KY Map

This trail is one of my favorites. The views, the boulder fields, the trail itself makes this hike a keeper! This trail is so well marked, maintained, and easy to get to. Today made our third time each time amazingly different. You must check it out!!

Apparently, this is the best that Cookeville has to offer. Needs some TLC with the buildings on the path. Otherwise, the waterfall was very pretty and the path was super easy.

My daughter and I enjoyed the nice easy stroll. This trail has nice little water falls and you could swim in the river off a big rock. We enjoyed it!

Did the Natural Arch trail only and then went to the Panoramic Tail and did it both great and well worth the effort, amazing views.

Great trail with many photo opportunities and like the last review seemed longer than it was marked, possibly because of so many places to explore

Good hike after the rain

easy hike to a stunning falls!!

We were there on a very foggy November morning, which we didnt get to see the spectacular views but it was still a favorite hike of ours. We will be back to hike this on a clear day.

Long windy narrow road to get to trailhead but so worth it! The views from the overlook were spectacular! Great, easy hike!

As others have said the road to the trail head is very narrow and a little bit sketchy. The hike starts at the top of the mountain.
Right as you start the hike you will see a small stone building just off the trail. Go check it out. It is one of the coolest fresh water springs I have ever seen.
We went in late November with leaves covering the entire trail. That being said the trail was very well marked and easy to stay on track. Several great lookouts perched on giant rock slabs. Perfect spot for a picnic in the warmer months. Our favorite spot was dropping off the loop trail to the main trail (only a few hundred ft in). You come into the land of Giant boulders (40-50ft high). The trail goes right through the middle of all of these. We will certainly come back to hike this spot again. I highly recommend this hike. It really should be rated easy instead of moderate though.

This is a great hike. The overlook is breathtaking.

Great hike trails marked very good

Loved this trail. It was a bit longer than expected (we clocked 6.6 miles with a few side stops). Had trouble finding the trailhead but the map.me app helped. Great hike with lots of gorgeous views, it kept getting better all the way to the end.

Loved it. Will be going back.

Very diverse trail with all types of terrain. At times it can be tough to navigate. It took us around 6 hours to complete with a few stops along the way. We backpacked in and set up camp along the creek side. Beautiful park!

Trail to the bottom of the falls was closed for repairs. Would have liked a little bit of a longer hike but the trail was really nice.

Even on a cold and rainy day it was still worth it.

Its a choose your own adventure hike. The Natural Arch trail loop is only a bit over a mile but if you are looking to enjoy the longer hike take the bear canyon trail loop. The split is obvious and there are some great shots to see in addition to the Arch. It's trailhead is also a campground which is a plus. enjoy!

Beautiful hike! Trail was easy to find. First gravel road on the left just past the turn off the the laurel lake spill way. Go about 2 miles down the gravel road. You will see a small parking area to the right inside a curve. Trail starts along the creek. We hike 3 miles in just past the newly built bridge across the creek down the a cascading waterfall in the creek. Will definitely be going back to this trail.

Great view especially from the South Overlook. Trail is well marked and trail from North Overlook clockwise is newly maintained. Road is narrow and windy up to the parking area though so be careful.

Hike is beautiful with big open trails, beauty all along the path. The finale is the waterfall at the end with the luxury of a comfortable bench on a platform to enjoy the view.

I live close to the trail head and it’s my absolute favorite.

We took our 3 dogs through the “harder” hike and it was beautiful. However the Ridge Overlook we didn’t see an overlook at all. Gorgeous views and not rough at all! 2 overlooks we’re closed temporarily so I’ll definitely be going back to see the those at some point. Took us about an hour to go through the whole thing, but our dogs walked ya so faster than it would’ve been without him. Also very clean!

Incredible hike, incredible setting! It is a bit demanding — certainly not a trail for novice hikers, but it is the definition of natural beauty. Highly recommend!

We did the full 6+ mile loop. The trail is great and we'll maintained. Be prepared to wade through at least one creek. There was only one spot that was a little confusing but if you look closely you can tell which path is more well traveled.
As a side note after hiking some other local trails I'd rate this as more of a Moderate difficulty as there is some good climbs towards the end if you're going clockwise around the trail.

Enjoyed going after strong rain. Powerful falls. Would prefer a little longer hike.

Fun has a mix of challenges and entertaining for all.

I went after several inches of rain. The amount of water was amazing! There are areas where the railing is missing along the trail. Repairs still need to be made to areas that have been closed for a few years.

Very easy hike to the overlook. The trail down to the base of the Falls was closed due to flood unfortunately, but other than that is was an awesome little hike. I hiked this with my 2yr old niece and 58yr old heavy set mother. She was able to due this hike fairly easily. Only part she had to go slow was the staircase which is about 40 stairs. Without going down to the base the whole loop is less than a mile.
