Beautiful moderate hike - even (especially?) in the rain.

very steep and unless it has been raining or a wet year you want see much of a falls still pretty when it is full tbough still worth tbe hike up the hill at least once

Beautiful hike down to the falls. Most of the hike is moderate, but the trail down to the falls is long and steep. Stone stairs are helpful, but can be slippery if wet. Falls were awesome. Well worth the trek down.

Went back today, we did kiners holler and by pretty ridge. Seen a copperhead on the way but overall it was very nice. We did 9 miles total.

Pretty good hiking path that is worth the adventure.

It can be very hot due to lack of coverage from trees. The trails aren’t always the best marked according to which direction you take the trail but overall it is good exercise. There are also some pretty viewing points.

Very narrow paths, moderate trail. Be careful of snakes, ran across one on my hike. Beautiful views!

Moderate hike, access to the lake at various points along the trail. Highly recommend.

A very enjoyable hike that left me feeling refreshed and satisfied. The walk to the top was long and tiring, but the view was totally worth it. Also, two deer blessed me with their brief presence.

awesome hike wore the dig down pretty good.

My 3rd trip to this beautiful waterfall and I would definitely do it again! I definitely think you should take the trail by the river, over the trail by the campsite because of the better view.

Good sight of Waterfall!

One of the most scenic trails in Northeast Tennessee, but when it’s wet it gets a lil rough. Overall a good trail for pictures and kid friendly!!!

It’s a good trail lots of down hill but also lots of up. It’s not quite as easy as it’s made out to be for a beginner rating but fun an exciting none the less.

we wanted to do Darwin's revenge. this was no an easy trail. we ended up on the other side of 81. luckily we had service and we sent our location per GPS to the park rangers. we finally got out about 1230am. awesome rescue by the five rangers.

Nice hike with family. Not too long

hiked this trail at 730am and it was beautiful and peaceful. The only strenuous part was the stairs coming back up from the falls, very rocky.

Gorgeous Waterfall at the end

Made it there this weekend, very pretty and private. Once you reach the falls the trail head goes up a hill to the left that is the trail to continue onto kiner hollow which there is another falls about .5 miles.

pretty falls this am

This was a nice, easy hike to take up an afternoon. We took the high trail and it was easy to miss the turn down the stairs to the falls. It’s a great place to take a dip

an easy walk hike and bike on the lake side. I love this trail for a quick spin on the bike. Hard pack gravel so any bike as long it has tread tires, work fine. I've taken my cruiser and my mtnb/hybrid there.

I suggest not bringing the bike up on the ridge trail though, at all. It was very rough and may have been foolish to do so costing me a new derailleur as it had some decent drops last time I went. Going to go back to hike the ridge section soon.

Hike was more challenging than I thought. Slippery rocks and roots during multiple unbridged stream bed crossings were found on trails other than the loop. We went clockwise from the picnic area on the loop and it seemed to be uphill most of the time. After White Rocks we took Tower trail down to Noggin and then Hartselle to get back to the car quicker. Noggin was narrow and steep with Hartselle being an active creek bed most of the way.

When we stepped out on to White Rocks we found more than one type of poisonous snake sunning itself and absorbing heat from the near by rocks. That was expected as possible so we were looking and cautious. No problems and good pics from a distance.

Did notice older men driving and parking around the around the picnic and camping areas. Got the feeling this could be a pickle park but we were not bothered nor did we see any casual encounters.

Today was our first time on this trail... if you aren’t familiar it can get sorta confusing! Once you come to the first split, it’s A LOT shorter & easier instead of cutting left.. (like we did) the waterfall is DEFINITELY worth the hike! We ran into 4 snakes, 2 were very close we could have stepped on.. wasn’t very crowded at all with several places to stop; so much beautiful scenery.... overall it was an amazing hike!! :)

This trail offers some pretty good views at the summit, but it is by far the worst marked trail I’ve been on. I do not mind unmarked trails, or having to venture to find my way, but there is a highway of trails that are either marked blue or white with no indication of where they go or why. This trail would be better if it were unmarked as it would be less confusing as the markings that have no rhyme or reason. That being said, it leaves a lot to be explored especially if you take a wrong turn. It would be easy to keep walking In small loops unintentionally

tried to do trail but it's closed... you can call their phone and someone can update you if it's closed or not... if there is trees down they close park...fyi

Mostly easy hike. There were some short sections that might be just a little challenging to those who aren’t as coordinated (me). Loved the fact that the trail followed the river for a good bit.

a beautiful and very easy trail!!!!!
