This was a nice easy hike that was pretty beautiful the whole way. The waterfalls were gorgeous. We went on 09/09 at like 10am. It was sort of a rainy day which maybe helped as there weren’t too many people. We actually had some time completely alone by the lookouts over the falls which doesn’t sound typical. On the drive in we stopped at the first pullout that had a bathroom. Ended up being a little path to a small waterfall overlook that was nice as well you should check out if you are in the area.

Magical hike through the rainforest. I never tire of how the light flickers in and out and highlights the beauty of these special woods.

very nice and relaxing walk, beautiful beach great first dogs that like to swim!

Beautiful loop! Great views of the water and some good woods. Not crowded on a Thursday early afternoon. I just walked it but would also be a really fun run. On my trek today I came across a cell phone lying in the brush - I brought it to the visitor's center. Hope you find it!

Great hike nice and easy!

A nice trail for being in a city. I hiked it mid-day on a Monday and I did not experience a lot of traffic. The trail was generally clean but I was annoyed to see bike-share bikes being left at random points. I'll be back to hike it again since it is close to home and it makes a nice post-workday stress reliever.

great hike for the family and dogs

This trail is readily accessible via public transportation, which means it's also a busy trail. Great for a nice relaxing stroll while also enjoying some nature!

A short trip, nice in the evening.

Great trail for all ages, shapes, and sizes. Great signage and mile markers. Scenery is calming. Destination on the bay worth the short walk.

Great view of Lake Sammamish from the view point right off the parking lot.

When the trail merges into the Talus construction, make sure to use your map and GPS location so you don’t miss where the trail is. We took a bit of a detour after missing the trail within the construction site.
Speaking of construction, we ran into "Trail Closed" sign leaning against the ridge side of the trail, ignored it, and kept walking. After snaking through the yet-to-start Talus construction area, the trail entered into the forest again via a jump-over stumps clearly indicating a swampy area. It was in early September so there was no water. But, I suspect a puddle-swamp area forms during rainy seasons. After walking over the stumps into the forest, the trail turned into a goat-trail and we ran into another ran-over "Trail Closed" sign. it was almost half-way for the ~3.5mi loop, and that time we decided to turn back. I don't know if the return path (the north-east side) is open. Something to find out the next time I am there by walking in the opposite direction, starting on the "left" (north) off the parking lot, probably veering right to the "No Name" or the previous "Surprise Creek" first.

I loved this trail. Easy and beautiful!

I went here yesterday and it is absolutly beautiful. I would definitely go again.

Easy to get to. Straight trail. Nice to see the rocky beach. Not a fan of the straight hike, where it’s not a circle, I prefer circle hikes. The trees along the way are pretty and the terrain is mix of rock and cement. Easy for kids too!

very rewarding. cool historical info along the trail. awesome hike!

easy, beautiful, but crowded.

Interlaken is looking so nice. Here you can find the classics of Alpine and the image of mountain.

Heads up that part of the north beach trail is currently closed as of 8/25 (area where you’d go up the stairs after going by the light house if you by going toward the birds nest- see pics). We didn’t know until about 3 miles in and had to turn around. Otherwise it was lovely.

watch out for all the slugs on the trail!

Had an amazing time doing this trail. It did take me a long time to find the start line but well worth it. It did rain on our parade but it felt amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The road is still gone about 2.2 miles out from the actual hike. It’s a nice hike with a few blow outs in the road so plan for a lot longer than what it says.

Had the entire beach to myself at first! Spotted lots of wildlife: herons, seal, crabs!

Such a great trail. I really didn’t think it was hard to find, even if you go off track a bit it’s still easy to get back and find the falls. Also it’s a pretty easy, fast hike. Falls are beautiful. Dogs and I absolutely loved getting in the water. And it feels so secluded, which added to its allure. My friend and I really enjoyed getting shots of the abandoned car as well......HOW DID IT GET THERE?!

Walked it with our cat, easy loop not much elevation. Stinks by the beach due to the sewer plant but other than that great area right in Seattle for a walk, bike, or run.

Been there on Saturday 2018/08/18. Took two hours - to and fro. I did not like it. Waterfall is very small not like the pictures shown. Hike it self is not pleasant and It is more of walk in the woods than hike. No proper signs, some confusion on trail route at couple of junctions, we made it though. 'All Trails' app map helps some extent. No designated parking lot, we were there at around 7:30 and could easily find the place to park on roadside. There is no board or sign at the trail head so it was confusing and had to wait for other hikers to come and follow them. Trail head is at at the junction of Mountain View Rd & Cherry Valley Rd where couple of concrete blocks are placed. It is an easy and long walk and good for kids. Do I go there again? Nope.

For being inside of Seattle this is a great place to spend your day.

just made it to the end and its beautiful!!

Did this hike last week in the rain. Was still a great hike even in the rain. It was a bit crowded compared to some other trails, but a must do. Beautiful plants and trees during the hike. Nice waterfall at the end. Very easy hike.

This trail has it all! Hike through the woods, sandy bluffs, Meadow, or down by the beach. Spent my early afternoon here and it was lovely.
