My favorite Seattle hike when the mountains feel too far away. Just watch out for all the trail runners;)

Really good hike. Kid friendly and good balance is sun and shade.

Fun trail with interesting sights along the way. There is some mud and a point where you either have to ford a creek or walk over a fallen tree, so go for waterproof footwear if possible. The end with the falls are gorgeous in autumn and you can view it both from the bottom and get right up to the top. We brought our pup and he had great time, but smaller or older dogs may not be equipped to complete the entire loop.

Beautiful views and easy hike. I love the hike in terms of convenience. Less travel time and no hassles in terms of parking.

Excellent views during the hike. The hike itself was confusing, we kept going back and forth with the map instructions matching with the sign posts. i gave a 4* cause the restrooms were locked! Overall, we enjoyed but I would definitely advise hikers to plan the route.

Incredibly simple trail down to a beautiful waterfall. A bit crowded due to the ease, but would still highly recommend because the waterfall it’s an atypical one.

Relatively flat, wide gravel trail. Nice waterfall area at the end. Mostly smaller growth trees in the beginning.

Convenient to Duvall.

Wonderful fun run with plenty of hills and views. Great fresh air. Beautiful run.

Great variety of trails and meadows and beach. Doesn’t even feel like you’re in Seattle !

Good well kept trail, first 2/3 is easy, well maintained path. Last night is a bit tougher and can get quite sloppy with heavy rains. Keeping to the left Allows for extension along older Logging roads. The last turn to the cause it’s not super obvious. Fun day hike.

Deer creek road is closed about two miles in. You can drive to where it is closed, park, then walk from there. Or you can just park at the bottom and walk the whole way. It is about 9 miles round trip if you park at the bottom and hike to Kelcema lake. It's an easy - moderate hike. Decently groomed gravel road with a few wash outs. It is a slight incline on the way up, but pretty mild. Also, there was a decent amount of water on the road, so bring waterproof shoes or practice jumping across rocks.

Nice easy trail. Loved the waterfall. Seeing it up close lets your really feel the magnitude of it.

easy walking trail

easy bus ride from downtown. lots of options to extend your walk. a nearby wastewater plant lends some unwanted "ambience" in places, but wasn't too bad. fog can limit the view on some days too.

Nice trails to follow and educational signs along the paths. Markers too just Incase you are not sure which way you are headed. I took a good long hike with the kids and they were very tired at the end which made me happy.

Easy walking trail.

Awesome hike, and well marked, with great signage

This hike was my first introduction to the Olympics - WOW! So much to see all the way to the falls. Easy to extend your hike by taking one of the three trails that start just past the falls, which are far less crowded.

easy but enjoyable

Went at sunset and it was amazing!

lots of ups and downs. lots of fungi..... fun hike with kids and critters. my only complaint..... need more signs.

Continue past the falls on the trail for little to no crowds and absolute serenity in the forest. That was my favorite part; this place is magical.

insanely beautiful with wild orange mushrooms to one serine log cabin off off to the side of the trail. easy peasy

It’s a nice easy hike. Beautiful views of bluff, beach, and the Olympic range in the distance. Try to plan your trek just as low tide arrives. The ocean leaves beautiful tide pools brimming with starfish and other animal life.

Good easy hike. paved nice green trail. Ends at the beach... Daughter loved all the little crabs

Nice trail... very quiet - probably because of the time of year.. well kept, falls didn’t have much water but a nice place to hang out - esp. for the kids.. it’s an easy trail - saw some families with 4-6yr olds.. lot of people walking their dogs too..

Nice easy trails, great to bring dogs on. The loop is 4.4 mi but the network is extensive and you could easily double that if you want.
