Went with my best friend Monday afternoon around 3, took our time and ended up hiking back to car in the dark. Well worth it, just make sure you have flashlights or prepare unlike us and go earlier. I cant wait to go back when it’s warmer and go swimming.

It's an easy hike that follows the river. I don't think we ever found Moulton Falls but we continued and saw Lucia Falls. There are zero signs on the trail. I took the advice of previous people and took a picture of the map, though that didn't help us. I'll give it 3 stars for being easy, having pretty enough views of the river the whole time. However, it's crowded and the falls remain a mystery to me.

Beautiful easy hike. Trail was icy. Yax Trax came in handy. The first bridge over the water was icy and kinda scary to cross. Road to the trailhead was bare but there was ice in some spots. Parking lot has snow in it but drivable.

A great place for an easy hike. Just don't go in the summer if you don't like crowds.

Great variety of fungi to explore.

Good winter hike.. Trail in great shape.. Falls are less than spectacular.. But beautiful nonetheless..

Gorgeous river and waterfalls!

Plenty of parking, pretty muddy. But pretty

Hiked today (Jan-5, Sat), arrived around 11am, there is not much parking but was plenty of space today, not a high season. Trail is easy and in a pretty good condition, muddy sometimes, but nothing bad. Main challenge was the Hannan Creek crossing near the falls. There is a fork and loop on the second part of the trail, you can go left or right, both trails go to the falls. I took the left trail and that was a mistake, creek crossing on the left side was worse than on the right, it was not easy to cross without getting wet. There are some logs and rocks but pretty slippery and you have to jump. I wish I had my poles with me just for this crossing, left mine in the car for this easy hike.

My suggestion - take the right trail, there is a crashed car right after the fork, so you will know what place I am talking about. Creek crossing is smaller on this side and there is a big tree over it, which you can use for easy crossing. Then after the falls you can try the other side of the trail to go back, if you can’t make the crossing there, it’s not far at all to return and go back the same way. And, as I mentioned, poles will be helpful for creek crossing. Unless you are fine with wading through the creek and get wet.

Super easy out and back. Went on a crisp January day, damp and overcast with about a dozen people on the mostly paved trail with me.

Beautiful walk.

Very well maintained. If you go on certain days you won’t need a discovery pass. During this time of year by the creek it will smell gross cause of all the dead fish, but I was able to overlook that part. I definitely plan on doing this trail again in the spring to see all of the new salmon.

It has been a while since I did it,but I remember there were nice switch backs. The lake makes the hike worth it.

This is a great winter walk. Short and not too muddy.

Great experience. Will do again.

Great out and back hike. About 3 miles round trip with some challenging hills!

this trail is great to hike. it's an easy flowing trail with very little steeps. covered in foresty trees and a fun broken down car thats become apart of the trail itself as well. The water fall itself was beautiful and peaceful. Unfortunately the trail road itself heading back was difficult to determine for us, it took us awhile to head back because we missed a turn, wish there were better markings to get back on the trail. All in all it was a very peaceful hike. We did this hike sometime in the beginning of January 2017.

Love this trail and I’m lucky it’s right in my backyard

Passed about 6 people on the trail today. There are 2 places where crossing the stream/river could be a bit tricky, let’s just say waterproof boots can only do so much when the water is above your ankles. Overall, it was easy and well maintained, just plan better than I did for the water - 2.5 miles in soggy, loudly squishing boots isn’t the most fun.

A beautiful waterfall. There are a few fallen trees and branches along the way from the windstorm but you’re still able to get around. The trail is still well maintained. Saw a good amount of people on the way to the falls and back. Once you get close to the falls there is a stream you have to cross yet the water was too high without some proper water shoes. We were able to climb across a fallen tree to get to the other side. I’d recommend this to friends

Absolutely beautiful!

Beautiful hike! Great access road all the way to trailhead.

Nothing special.

This is a beautiful hike. Well maintained trails with a great deal of board walk sections. However, some of the gravel sections were a bit muddy, but not terrible. I will do this one again soon.

First half of the trail has a marked path and is cleared fairly well. Once it splits the trail can get muddy and narrow in points, but we were hiking in november. There's definitely a few wet areas to cross so need to make good shoe decisions if you plan on hiking off season. The final creek crossing before the falls has a tree to crawl over or a 1' deep swift, cold, fast moving wet path - took our shoes off and carried the 7 year old over and let the 10 year old crawl the tree.

Beautiful hike with well-maintained trails. Signage to Cerry Creek Falls now well posted. The falls are worth the hike, in any weather.

This is a well maintained trail in a naturally beautiful area. It is a bit of a drive to get back into the lake, but very well worth the drive.

This is a trail I will do again.

The falls are truly a hidden gem! Great hike for kids. I’ve taken my 4 year old twice this year, once during summer and the falls didn’t have much water but still made for a perfect picnic lunch spot. And once this weekend, which after the rain it was a tad muddy however the falls were roaring and gorgeous! We even saw some salmon In the pond!

great waterfall.
