Beautiful trail. Come early morning on workday if possible to avoid crowds.

Great views and well maintained path. River was great to dip hands and feet in to cool down.

Unfortunately was really crowded on a warm August day which can be a downer when other people’s loud conversations and kids throwing rocks into the river is not the main point of going into nature.

Other than the too-many-people

Loved doing this trail in early October! Such a beautiful time of year here. The bridge for waterfall viewing was magic. The trail took us about 2 hrs out and back, and was much steeper than I had imagined, but a good workout.

Easy and beautiful hike!

Beautiful walking trails. We went on a crisp sunny autumn day and it really was idyllic! The entrance is steep and parking can be tricky but totally worth it! We brought our dogs and three young children. The pathway is muddy so wear appropriate shoes.

We were able to see a few remains of the town!

I have a toddler. So anything that keeps the little entertained and outdoors is great! this trail has cute little signs to read and learn about planets and animals. Has a pond with a bridge that is fun with the kids!

The conditions were perfect today. It can be a potential mudfest on this trail, but the weather has been great so barely much mud. Definitely go left at the trailhead if you want to avoid a steep decent going counterclockwise on this trail. Take some time going through the three tunnels with a flashlight. Lots of fun with older kids! Also, be sure to use mosquito repellent.

Very easy and good to do with children and older people since it’s a steady surface. I would only do again if we have visitors that have limitations.

Awesome little one day hike. moderate for the kiddos. amazing views of all angles. Took my 6 and 10 year old this last weekend and they absolutely loved it. wild huckleberries on top for the tasting. I definitely recommend this hike.

I took my 7 Cubscouts on this trail yesterday. They were all so focused on getting up the steep path as fast as they could that they missed quite a bit of the scenery but I can’t wait to come back with a good camera! It was so beautiful! Definitely best enjoyed in the autumn.

We took the upper trail to the lower trail. The three tunnels are at the end of the upper trail. After the third tunnel, back track outside the tunnel (tunnel will be on your left) to reach the lower trail loop. The upper trail loop was fairly mild with the 8 and 4 year old, limited to no hiking experience. The trail cuts pretty close to cliffs at times so just keep an eye out.

The lower trail was HELL. Super steep and muddy, we slid like crazy, and at times the only way we knew we were on the trail were the pink and orange guide ribbons. It was desperately overgrown, above even my head at times. At one point the trail dead ends at the creek and you’re supposed to climb rocks on the bank of the creek to get to the other part of the trail. My 8 year old had a blast. My 4 year old? Not as much.

Amazing trail, easy walk with some ascending in some parts (which is good for exercise). This trail is very rewarding!

This trail was beautiful! After spending a lot of time in a city lately, I was so happy to be surrounded by so many big trees. The trail is pretty steep and I was with some people who weren’t regular hikers so we weren’t able to make it all the way. Definitely a good workout! Saw a handful of other hikers along the way so not super quiet.

Sweet easy stroll along a gorgeous shoreline. Trail shared with hoses and their poop. Banyan tree is otherworldly.

Loved it. This trail followed the gravel up to the top- Very steep. Great view of the valley at one point. My 4 year old twins loved hiking with me on this one!

Did this hike today! Pretty decent work out, not packed at all which was nice, but there was no real view so that was a disappointment. We decided to try to find goat hill, got lost found some people who guided us thank god! But over all it was still nature which was great!!!

Great loop good chance to see wildlife

Nice, short trail with great waterfalls at the end!! Be sure to go to both the upper and lower twin falls. The lower one is the taller one that’s straight down, the upper falls turn a few times. Once you get to the bridge to see the upper falls, keep going up a bit to see the top part of them. Very beautiful.

This is a treasure place close to city where provides numerous benefits in order to escape from the busy noise city. You can find a hidden magic place if you want to explore with curiosity. It’s likely good for any season and you can do a good exercise in the fresh air instead of getting gym membership. Save money but boosting our spirit and body! Enjoyable several natural things throughout the pathway.

Not much of a ghost town, but the hike was pretty easy. Option to go short or long distance.

Great short hike, disappointing waterfall but still nice to see

Good little hike. Steeper at the beginning and the end. I thought the view from the top was ok...not breathtaking, but definitely very nice.

Great shorter hike! We hiked on a cloudier day so visibility was limited. The huckleberries were so abundant! Two couples we staying overnight in the firelookout when we got there. The colors of fall were just starting to pop so it was beautiful to see!

Watch out for bees, they were pretty feisty. Also, ran into a mama mountain goat and her baby.

Nice hike. Went there after seeing the crowd at Rattlesnake Ledge (yikes!). This trail was somewhat busy but nothing like Rattlesnake! Only complaint is that at the top of the climb there’s only a small area for sitting & viewing & not much shade. Lots of shade on the trail though.

Spectacular views can be achieved on this hike. There are warning signs for the cliffs, but unless you've got small kiddos, really not an issue. Good parking area and prepare to walk the road a little on the stretch back.

A moderate hike. Good to go with kid on back (3 year old / 30 pounds). Parts of it can be steep, but overall manageable. Some switchbacks later in the hike. Gave me a feeling of entering the Jurassic world - dunno why :)
Limited space up top for larger groupss and views are nothing fantastic, but at least something.
