Went with family and dog. Loved it just make sure to have good shoes with traction.

hiked this trail from the campground. It was pretty strenuous on the way up but so beautiful with so much history!

Beautiful. Very soothing once you reach the falls.

Very well marked! But at the end it can be hard to scale the last boulder! But once you get over it, it is amazing

Great short hike to a awesome waterfall. Make sure its been raining a bit prior to going fall was little slower than usual but still a beautiful place. Kids loved it as wasn't long at all.

Nice day trek with plenty of water along the way for our dog. Very neat bridge with a nice creek to stop and take some pictures at before making the hike back. Remember its almost uphill the whole way back.

The scenery and nature never cease to amaze me. One of my favorite views is from the pinnacle overlook.

Super hard to find and google maps doesn’t do a good job of getting you there, but that’s just part of getting there. Once you find it, it’s a super cool trail with a lot to explore.

very beautiful

The trailhead could be difficult to find. I’d say the trail difficulty to the falls is easy-moderate. Access above falls is a little more challenging. We hiked after and during wet weather. This makes for a more spectacular water fall experience. Word of precaution: the trail and boulders are very slick during even the slightest rain.

It was an absolutely beautiful trail! Between the mountain laurel trees, flowers, small waterfalls and streams, it just made a well rounded hike.

Great hike with some good hills and beautiful rock formations and creek crossings. Every time I go though I notice others have left trash camping past the bridge. Unfortunate to soil such a pretty place. LNT

We had a great hike here today. Perfect trail and absolutely love the suspense bridge!

Fun to have the trail to yourself. Buggy at the beginning (buzzing not biting). Cleared up for lovely waterfall. Pit stop on a road trip was fun. 6 year old loved it.

Beautiful trail in the woods, nice and shaded. Lots of water crossings after the rain but was pretty dry right now. I clocked it at 3.3 miles, gorgeous rock formations and a cute suspension bridge at the end.

Great trail! It was raining the first half of our hike but it was worth it. We were worried about the ground being slick but it wasn’t bad at all. Definitely recommend this trail.

I really enjoy this trail. I like starting at the visitors center. Starting here adds 2.2 miles on the round trip distance.

Great hike with awesome vistas and interesting geology. Photos don't come close to representing Knobby Rock or the ancient forest. The trail system is about 5 miles total. There are 2 loop trails (Knobby Rock & Sand Cave) and one out and back (Watts Creek). l would recommend doing all of them. When you get to the fork to go to the Sand Cave from the Knobby Rock trail, take the Sand Cave trail. It loops back around to the Knobby Rock trail about 40 feet from the initial fork. If you take this route you will not only see the Sand Cave but you'll also go through an area known as the Maze - a rock scramble beneath a rockhouse. We went on a Saturday afternoon and only saw 1 other person on the trail. Very peaceful and a great opportunity to see wildlife and many plant species.

Great easy hike. It gets pretty steep at the end near the falls but worth it. Like other people say no cell service so look at the map before you go. Make sure you go after a good rain if not the falls maybe small.

Beautiful trail even in the cold spring/winter weather this year....will be back again!

Excellent Hike! Even the drive out to it is beautiful.

Great hike with beautiful scenery the whole way. Bridge was awesome and just as enjoyable for adults as it is for kids. My son and I both had a blast.

Kid friendly and a great place for lunch just past the bridge

great trail, especially after a good rain!

Hiked this in this snow in mid-March. It was absolutely beautiful! It’s mainly uphill going up but coming back down the mountain was a breeze.

Easy hike, don't go when it's dry out.
