Beautiful scenery & very well maintained trail! Easy hike. Take your kids they should be able to complete it. However be careful. We Crossed paths with a hungry bear (just a black bear which poses little threat to humans) eating salmon in the river the trail runs through.

Gruelling hike up and down but well worth every bit of the effort. one of the most amazing and rewarding views in my 66 years on the planet

easy trail to the overlook point.. good glacier view..

One of the most beautiful hike in Kenai Pensilvania.

Amazing fall colors, warm, no wind and beauty at every corner!

Dang my feet hurt! And my knees! Good thing this was a pretty hike! Saw like 8 marmots!! And the icefield, which was pretty cool too. Sept 11, 2018. 7.5 hr RT.

Great hike to marvelous glacier lake with ice bergs. But you need to bring a bell or noise maker and bear spray. Loaded with bears so be on alert. Also gravely and rocky in some places. Talk talk talk so you don’t startle beard

Great hike. A bit over grown in spots. The camp sites at the end are nice. We were able to see a pod of beluga whales while we ate dinner.

Awesome hike, 65 degres today, The views were breathtaking. Definitely coming back to explore more. Bring lots of water as the inclines are a killer and its humid.

Spectacular hike! Starts fairly wooded, at the Meadows overlook breaks out into open territory and beautiful alpine meadows. Every stop off provides a beautiful view, so don’t feel shortchanged if you can not make it the entire way up. We climbed to Top of the Cliffs and were rewarded with a beautiful view of the Icefield, glacier, even a black bear grazing on berries about 200 yds away. Plenty of people on the trail but good to bring bug and bear spray just in case. Took about 4 hours round trip, but we took our time and picked raspberries and blueberries along the way :) a must do for anyone visiting the area.

Lots of mushrooms over Labor Day. At least 20 kinds!

Best hike I ever done !

Wet and muddy. Some wildflowers and nice views. Juneau lake and waterfalls were pretty. Lots of berries to eat. I find the hikes in Colorado to be much prettier without all the bad weather. Amazing views!!!The trail is strenuous, but absolutely worth it.

Honestly, I used to be an avid hiker but I’m currently pretty dang out of shape and was questioning if I should attempt this trail- it was SO worth it!!! Out of all the amazing hikes in different states that I’ve done, I dare say this was my most favorite!! The pictures don’t do it justice! My husband and I took our time and we were both in AWE! So, so worth it. And if you’re questioning if it’s too hard, just know you can do it- doesn’t matter if everyone is passing you on the way up, you will be so amazed by how beautiful the views are.

Very nice view

Amazing to be this close to the Glacier. Also interesting to see how much the Glacier has receded over the years!

Through hiked this, solo, camped at lake. Gorgeous views. Mellow trail. Terribly overgrown and challenging for middle six miles. Very low visibility and somewhat exhausting. I don’t recommend this section of trail in late summer. Huge amounts of berries on north side. Most berries on south side were gone but mushrooms were in profusion.

Difficult but worth it! My husband and I made it down and back in just over 4 hours.
Even during not so ideal weather, the hike was beautiful. If you’re near Seward- this trail is a must!

This was a very strenuous hike for me the steep elevation and rough terrain made it very challenging. All the mud and overgrowth on some parts of the trail made for slow going. The views were nice, but the best part was the abundance of berries! High bush cranberries, watermelon berries and raspberries were all ripe for picking today! Blueberries are not ready yet, but will be in a few weeks. Know your berries as there are poisonous berries out there too!

Gotta do the tram if you do this hike

Humbling to stand next to this glacier and witness how big it once was based on the markers leading up the trail. A nice, easy hike/walk. I heard people snickering that I was carrying my pack, but I always do, if that lets you know how easy it was. Lol

must see if you’re near Seward

Easy and VERY busy trail. Easily accessible.

Beautiful hike/walk. Easy and clearly marked trails. We saw a bald eagle at the lake, moose tracks and bear scat.

My 6 and 9 year old kids made the entire trail and I couldnt be prouder since it is strenuous for an adult. Views are spectacular and I really enjoyed the wildflowers. So much I bought an identifying guide book.

My first hiking trip ever. We did the 7 mile hike to Caribou Creek cabin. Trail was nice, a little muddy in spots but nothing that wasn’t impassable. Cabin was amazing!!!

Nice trail. Some steep sections. Beautiful lakes at the end of the trail. Couple of good view points. Places to camp

Nice, easy trail that lets you get a good view of the exit glacier. Expect a lot of people.

My favorite part of this hike was the top of the cliffs section. Great views of the glacier and very lush at the end of July. We decided to end our hike with about 20 minutes left to the end of the trail due to crummy weather.
