Easy and beautiful trail!!! Easy 2 mile round trip! And If you want you can keep going on the bay (ice) to the glacier!!
Fun, near flat trail to Nugget Falls
Great and fun trail. Wet and muddy but worth it!
Beautiful trail. Gets pretty icy about a mile up... spikes are definitely recommended.
Was a little muddy, but boots helped with that. The view at the end was incredible
Great little excursion
Knee deep snow towards the top! A bit slippery in the slush on the way down, but nice clear panoramic views.
Literally so many possibilities and alternatives paths that this trail never gets boring! Super easy and very cool to take your dog with you!
Pretty easy hike. It gets more interesting if you keep going further than what it marked for regular tourists
Awesome trail, definitely recommend going. Make sure to wear some sort of ice traction grip for shoes. Trail is great, easy for the most part. This trail map actually takes you to red mill trail. You should take a left at the fork to stay on this trail. This way follows the creek and is worth taking. Trail get hard after you hit granite trailhead. Deep snow after that.
Absolutely captivating
One of the coolest destinations at the end of this hike with great views of the glacier along the way, my fiancé and I are from Florida and we did it just fine. There are pink and orange ribbons along the way as well if you get turned around. It’s been raining so there are a few puddles and slick rocks.
Very well marked, nice and easy up to the end, you do get some ice crossing.
Lovely!
Wonderful. Snow shoes helpful after a couple miles
The trail was fine, just a few parts where it was iced over, slippery but overall had no problems. Would recommend some spikes.
even with snow, it was a great hike, made a wrong turn was heading on the McGinnis trail for a bit, but still good.
We went after a heavy snowfall and it was magnificent but very hard to follow or find parts of trail so I highly recommend a GPS this time of year.
Beautiful trail. Well maintained. Saw a black bear in the brush eating berries. Wonderful views!
great hike stated at nugget falls! well marked trail! stared raining but still meet several other people along the way!
Beautiful
