Nice views. Easy walk. Nice distance. Was very muddy quite a lot of the route which is to be expected at this time of year. Glad I wore my wellies!! Car park (free) is small and busy but managed to get a spot.
Gorgeous walk, good parking easy to follow route and lovely and rural!
Very muddy, not much fun. Best avoided after a lot of rain!
Nice walk !! Great mixture of woodland, fields, rivers and lakes. Would recommend this trail
Nice short walk, very muddy in winter.
Parking is no longer National Trust and can only pay via RingGo. Lovely, easy walk round the Great Pond. Decided not to do Little Pond as done that before. Would be easy to vary the route. Took 1.5 hours to do just Great Pond.
The arbrook common and trails along the Rythe river were pleasant, this was starting off The Swan pub near Milbourne Lodge school. The rest of the route especially the Esher common part was dreadful. Too many pylons all along the trail. Esher common can be lovely, but try a different trail for it.
Great loop, mostly dog friendly. Muddy but not as bad as other places we’ve been this week!
Easy to follow directions. Varied walk with some solid footpaths, some woodland and some grass. Final 25% very muddy. We had waterproofs and walking boots and were stretched to limits in very heavy, slippery mud. Some traffic noise can be heard at the start but it’s a very peaceful walk good for families, dog walks, not too challenging as it’s mostly flat.
Lovely walk - especially the Esher Common part. Muddy in places so make sure you have appropriate foot wear.
I found some of the way points misleading....I managed to get to the blue ball inn (with some diversions) but found it near impossible to follow the directions from then on. I had to put on mobile navigation which took me back on myself for 5-8km (missing the sportsman stop)! V relieved to finally reach the hot choc at Junction 8 on Reigate hill! PS. Super super muddy (but expected this time of year!)
Good hike. Not too challenging
Great route off the beaten track in places. Extremely muddy to begin with but got easier. Stopped half way for a flask of tea
great terrain
Muddy at this time of year but excellent loop
It was a very enjoyable walk - very muddy so I’d avoid if you don’t have the right shoes. Esher common was absolutely beautiful and the most enjoyable part of the walk. Would definitely recommend this walk - would be great to take pets if you don’t mind the mud.
Busy to start with when you’re on the racecourse but much quieter as you go round the fields. Muddy in places.
