We enjoyed the trail on a clear sunny Sunday. We did the clockwise route and found it to be of moderate difficulty. No real signage when you get to the top of the hill, so you need to keep a constant eye on the Alltrails map if recording your walk. We had missed a couple of turns and went slightly off route, but managed to follow the route for the most part. Would certainly go again! We went on a sunny dry day, but I'd still recommend walking boots for this walk.
Fantastic, moderate walk. Beautiful views all around. Dry path, a bit windy though.
A great walk with some lovely views. Definately a moderate walk more than easy but we managed it with a reasonably fit 7 yr old fine. The return leg is 'closed' with a wooden fence put up but it's easy enough to just jump over (no different than climbing a sty) and you can carry on just fine.
Loved it
brilliant trail ending is the hardest
We had a lovely day to do this walk. The weather was a perfect early spring day, but, as other reviewers have said already, there are parts of this walk that were very muddy. The other thing to note is that quite a bit of this walk seems be down narrowish paths between high hedges or fences which can limit the views. That said, overall, with the right footwear its still a pretty nice way to spend an hour or so.
Great family trail - I can attest it is very muddy and waterlogged!
NOTE the return trail is closed for works until 16.6.21, I used it anyway but when work starts I guess it will be off limits. Great views, very slippery in places and I wouldn't class it as easy.
Great hike for a Sunday afternoon. Although could have chosen to do it on a better day when it wasn’t raining and hailing lol
Beautiful scenery, but super muddy at the moment.
Very muddy through the woods.
Lovely walk! Very very muddy! But nice mix of terrains!
Lovely walk on a frosty January day. Great to take photos. Easy walking and can deviate from the route quite easily but join up again. Car park has big holes in it so take care.
Nice varied trail- very muddy in parts in winter- wellies required!
A good challenge having to keep your wits about you with very slippy and deep mud and water in places and some good climbs up and down
Very nice trail and remarkably dry:. Very Sandy and fine for kids bikes. Pretty quiet too. Did only part of it today due to late start in the day. Will come back and do the rest of the trail. Good to know there are a few other areas to park further along the trail as the main parking is quite small.
Clear to follow and not as muddy today as previous walkers have described. Lovely views at the beginning but last bit on quite narrow paths. Very enjoyable and please ask at the pub if you are ok to park.
Great trail. Bit boggy and muddy in the autumn weather but trail was easy to follow. Only 2 big ascents both relatively straight forward as long as you pace yourself and don’t try to race up them. Walk offers different trails off of you want to explore a bit and if you park in QE car park you can add an extra few kms on plus another large hill! This is a local loop for me so gets walked quite a bit. Allow about 90 minutes for a fairly relaxed walk.
some lovely big hills (up and down). Great scenery from the top...sheep, cows, hills and mud Parked in Queen Elizabeth National Park carpark which added 2k but well worth it
Lovely walk lots of sheep’s was on the field it was great weather too Lucky to be here
Good variety of terrain but very muddy in places
gorgeous mix of meadows and woodland, some road walking, quite a few styles. Beautiful countryside

Thank you for your feedback Tony. I've changed the difficulty rating to 'Moderate'. I'll leave the return trail untouched for now. If it becomes unusable please let me know and we'll redraw the trail.
