Nice quick hike. Nothing special but you’re out in nature.

nice trail with a simple incline as you make the turn west towards the big A. Has a decent view on fort Collins and you can also get a good one of the reservoir. Plenty of chances to see prairie dogs along the way and I also saw a snake.

Fun & relatively easy trail! Also, don't miss Eden Valley Spur trail.

Great walk for kids! Plenty to explore-beaver habitat, tall grass meadows, and river critters! We will do this one over and over to see the seasons change!

Nice quick run. Flat to rolling terrain, mostly open with no trees until you get to the back half. I saw one deer creeping through the trees mid-way through. The trail was well marked.

really lovely trail, not very challenging but nice views!

Disappointing- I was excited to see a trail within walking distance from my house but I don;t think I will be going back. No great views, crowded and TONS of aggressive/rude bikers and runners! Wish more people had trail etiquette but that seems to be disappearing with the more people that crowd our local trails. I don't think I would even consider this a hiking trail. If you want a decent hike check out any other trails in the area and you will probably have a better adventure.

Beautiful hike! Gorgeous scenery, not busy on a perfect Sunday. Flowers blooming, birds singing, fantastic!! We'll be back for round two!

What a great hike! Would be a great walk to take the entire family on. Even though it was very foggy and had just rained the hike was great for us and it wasn’t even that muddy!

Trail surface varies from graded limestone rock to soil with some rocks. During an afternoon hike I saw a dozen mule deer lounging under trees.

Oh man incredible views of the red rock!! This is an easy walk but I went the wrong way and went the long way round to Bent Rock. Unlike its name I was expecting a Rick but it’s really the low part of the basin. It’s Bent Rock Canyon. I was told try it while the flowers are in bloom. No dogs... however I saw a woman with 5 children and a labradoodle that was NOT supposed to be there. I enjoyed the hike.. there’s lots of coyote scat and a little river runs through it.

Trail is temporarily closed.

Great hike for us and our toddler. Next time I’m bringing a mountain bike.

Really nice! Paved path in one of the area's scenic spots.

Well kept trail. Very easy hike.

Nice hike, great day in January.

Heavily trafficked by bikes. Dogs are allowed, but won’t be taking mine back. Trails were too narrow and we couldn’t get out of the way of the bikers many times. Many were rude and essentially demanded right of way.

Good trail for hiking, great scenery at the top

Heavily trafficked, but a great, easy hike just outside our doorstep.

Easy, well marked, and enjoyable- as advertised

I will be coming back here for sure. The open space was a little tricky to find since I'm not super familiar with the area. The breeze felt just as good as the sunshine did but I could see how this would be a super hot hike in the summertime. Only ran into a few other people here and will be bringing the bike back to go farther on the other trails next time. We didn't see any rattlesnakes but we did see a coyote and some deer.
