A perfect example of the beauty of Central Oregon.

Nice walk and a beautiful waterfall!

The south side of the loop is the Tumalo Creek Trail portion of the loop and was the most scenic part of the hike up until you reach the falls. The north end is actually a road. If you want to hike through some alpine forest you can hike up past Tumalo Falls to Double Falls, but probably wouldn’t want to go much further without snowshoes. Spikes recommended if there is snow on the ground.

Beautiful hike to a very close up view of the falls. No snow either!

Very good trail, would definitely do it again! Easy hike with young kids. Our 4 year olds walked the whole two miles and our 6 year olds said it wasn’t long enough. I suggest getting there early we showed up at about 10:30am and ran into a few big groups and a few individuals, however the parking lot was full when we got back and was filling on the side of the roads.

Easy and beautiful hike! Simple access. visitors from Australia loved it!

Fun and semi easy 2 mile hike. Beautiful waterfall, but to get to the bottom of this fall, you will have to go down the steps at the end of the hike. There’s a nice waterfall half way up, which will definitely add value to the hike.

The hike was beautiful. My girlfriend and I hiked this trail during the summer and enjoyed every bit of the views and nature. We personally enjoyed the upper falls better than the lower falls on the loop trail due to the fact that there were a lot less people and you could just get a lot closer. The trail itself had a couple look out points which made it that much more rewarding. Both are beautiful falls though.

Short hike but more than worth it! Beautiful waterfall! My girlfriend and I went during winter and it was a little chilly but the walk was short and getting soaked by the falls was worth it! The hike in was beautiful!

If you don't like edges, don't do this waterfall hike!!

We did the trail to the falls out and back. It's about 7 mile without much incline. The only incline is the last couple hundred yards to the falls, so it's a pretty easy hike. It was very icy for the first mile and hard pack after that. We had spikes but there were other people who were hugging the snowy edges to keep on their feet. I personally wouldn't go without spikes until it snows again, just to slick. All and all a beautiful hike, the scenery is fantastic.

Took about an hour and a half. Took my time and enjoyed the beauty of the trail. The part of the trail on the other side of the main road is paved, but the trail that loops above the waterfall is dirt. I encountered several families that were enjoying themselves. There are definitely opportunities to get too close to an edge, but there seemed to be adequate precautions to prevent that from happening. I will definitely be doing this hike again.

Great hike, not a workout at all.

The directions in this app tell you that you are there before you are. Just keep going on the road and you will come to a parking lot. We took the loop starting on the left of the first waterfall. It's steep at first but not as steep as the other side. I was surprised that there were so many people there on Christmas day and can just imagine how busy it would be on a sunny day. we had to park outside the parking lot. nice waterfalls for a short trail.

Very easy and simple trail. The waterfall is amazing and the loop takes you down to the base. Went on Xmas so virtually nobody else on the trail. Not too muddy after the rain. Parking lot small, so I could see it being challenging on a regular day.

This was a very nice hike. Incline at first but not too bad. The upper Falls is really beautiful.
Short hike, not too hard

Great hike, beautiful falls. Well marked

it was an amazing hike. fell down coming out of the cave.

Trail isn't too tough to get to super cool and unique scenery and views on the way to the cave.

Too many people to enjoy anything. Few had any trail etiquette or adequate shoes for the conditions. This made the hike unsafe, with folks blocking the trail or slipping and sliding into us. We couldn't get off the trail fast enough.

No good trail markings, typical Oregon. ended up on the skyliner trail which was an awesome 6.5 mile run. Head back tomorrow with a map and run the falls loop

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

Boca Cave is spectacular. When you get close to the top of Triangulation Peak, the trail splits. Right up to the summit and left to the cave. Path descends on rocky ground to cave but is doable. Rocky, wet scramble into cave. Don’t miss the framed view of Jefferson.

Foggy, narrow trail, and I couldn't locate the cave.

We hiked with our two dogs to the peak of the Triangulation Tr. to get the most beautiful 360 panoramic view! From there we hiked down into Boca Cave to see Mt Jefferson through the eye of the Cave. Photos do not do the view and experience justice.

Phenomenal! The peak is definitely worth it, and Boca Cave is easy to find and really cool. Hike up is a bit brushy, not to difficult.

I loved this hike! We looked at both falls. Super fun to be able to walk behind both and see the backside of water. There was frost, so it was a little slippery in areas, but manageable.

Switchback incline was tough. But a break here and there and we were fine. Bathrooms were good. Cafe was perfect as we were cold and hungry.

Cool really short hike to an awesome waterfall!

Really easy summit hike and great to see both the cave and the peak at the top! Great camp spot up there too. NOTE: when going to the cave you will go through a burned forest area and the trail is relatively difficult to follow so keep your eyes peeled. It's a scramble with lots of loose rock, but doable if careful
