Wife and I hiked this one last Sunday and we will return. The sign at the trailhead says the trail is strenuous, but it is moderate at most so don't be deterred. I'm 69 and not in the greatest shape and I made it just fine. Lots of flow due to the recent rain and temps in the 60's so it was a great day to be on this trail.

great trail, awesome views

Easy hike! Nice “beach” area for hanging out. The falls are beautiful. Wasn’t sure about the primitive road going down to the trail head so I parked at the first pull off

Beautiful waterfall! I was anticipating more of a hike into the waterfall, but this hike is excellent for a short trip with kids. The hike in is a all 4 wheel drive road, until you get to the base of river. The hike into the falls is a easy hike until you get to the base of the falls. This waterfall was beautiful! Wish it was summer so I could have taken a deep into the pool area at the base!

Nice hike - easy, great views from open ledges. My only caveat is that the loop is longer than 3.7 miles - it was around 4.2 or so.

So beautiful! Very easy trek to the falls and well worth it!

Well maintained trail and beautiful falls!

Beautiful! Hiked to all three falls Nov 10, 2018. Well maintained trail and gorgeous falls.

Fun, pretty hike. Not hard, I did it 6 months pregnant!

More on the easy side than moderate. Views are amazing though!

beautiful hike and impressive waterfall

Backpacking - First and foremost, I have no idea what trail you guys have been on but it was a different experience for us today. It may have been the rain over the past few days but we had no less than six or seven water crossing with little to no fjords before coming to a section where a waterfall was with three logs over it, no rail and water too swift to just cross the rocks. We did turn around. Now, maybe I am a pansy, I will take that but do note, there are a decent amount of water flowing and I was not crossing the top of the water fall on the logs with no hand rails and a seven foot drop on one side nor was I crossing over the slippery rocks with rushing water. With that said, this trail IS beautiful. It is on the easier side of moderate for certain, excluding the water issues we had today. There were alot of people in the area either camping or hiking for the day, so I consider this one to be moderately trafficked as well. If you are looking for solitude, not really the place. Although it wasn't a mountain biking trail with did experience four on the trail, appears they just got crossed up somewhere along the way. Beautiful waterfalls and streams throughout the area. Tons of mud so wear good shoes. Trail also contains a lot of rocks at the first and is fairly rootey, that didn't affect the overall hike though. A couple of great places to camp along the way, may revisit when it is less wet. Happy Hiking and don't die on waterfalls.

This hike was actually further than I thought. I read 1.6 miles to the main falls but it actually seemed more than that. maybe is was all the elevation changes. Excellent walk. The trail actually goes outside of the State Park where it is not quite so well maintained so expect some dodgy bits. At some point in the trail follows the river with several smaller Rapids to view. The Falls themselves are spectacular. Well worth the trouble.

A truly beautiful hike to Tranquility Point on Little Green Mountain! Lots of ways to get lost though! Make sure you download a map and know which ways you are going. Beautiful fall foliage right now also!

Beautiful fall walk to the waterfalls. One easy stream crossing across large rocks. Some gentle ups and downs on the walk. The trail is well marked and maintained. Very little parking. About 30 minutes from Clemson. Well worth the easy walk to see these gorgeous falls up close.

Such a great workout! The waterfall was breathtaking!

We hiked up and back going counterclockwise on trail on way up. Outstanding vistas from the top. Fall colors were just starting to come on.

Great add on trek if you're hitting Green Knob Firetower or Setrock Creek Falls. There is parking for about 5-7 cars at the trailhead. The trail is a gravel road, with only minor elevation gain, so very easy for just about anyone. The falls are beautiful and the rocks at the base make great places for photos.

What a great little hike, especially with kids & very nice waterfall at end, well worth $5, great for kids too!

Panthertown is covered in intersecting trails, so have a map or this app ready for reference. The trail itself is a wide road until you reach the intersection at the beginning of the loop. We went right first. The trail was super muddy and waterlogged, so wear your waterproof shoes. Once on top of Little Green, the views are amazing! Exposed rock, heather and moss, and views for miles make it worth the uphill trek. It’s a great place to stop and take a water break. Once you’re at the bottom of the loop, the fall is right there with a large pool for you to swim/wade in. Be mindful of dogs and horses on this trail, and other campers. Overall, it was super fun and would definitely go back. I’d recommend it for the intermediate hiker.

Super easy, nice fall at the end and well marked. Good for all ages.

We went on a Friday and the parking lot was full but most people stop at the lower falls. There was a lot of water on the trail so it was a little slippery at some points but the views were well worth it!

Very strenuous .Beautiful.

Great hike! Absolutely gorgeous waterfall. A little difficult with wet leaves but overall a great hike!

Loved this trail, lots of great waterfalls to see. Not being in best shape I would still consider this trail somewhat moderate but absolutely worth it!

This trail is a moderate to easy trail! The views are beautiful and the water is cold but feels so good to swim in! It took around 45-50 mins up at a normal pace and a little less than 40 mins down!

Simply beautiful and a very easy hike!

The scenery on this hike is quite attractive and the hike going to the falls is easy. Moderate on the way back since there is a lot uphill walking. Very good hike it want to have plenty of time left in your day afterwards.

A MUST!!!!
BEAUTIFUL waterfalls (way bigger than I imagined) and stream along the hike. Really an ideal hike- little over 1.5 mile one way, areas of steep climb, enough to get your heart rate up. Well-marked trail in orange.
Took us ~ 1 hr 15 min driving from DT GVL.
