This trail was completed in several outings over several years . Starting at Terra Cotta and ending in Tottenham . Most people are friendly . Trail is well maintained as would be expected with such high priced housing in the area . No sign of ATV or dirt bike activity . Lots of parking available and a pricey bridge over Hwy 10 . A should do , enjoy , your taxes paid for it !

Easy trail...fun to do in 2 or 3 hours!

Great area for a long or short hike, there are different loops from a 45 min loop, to several hour loops.

A little confusing on how the trails were marked. We started with a little mist and high 2 degrees but it didn’t matter.
We did extra km than what we expected but had a great time in such a beautiful place.

Nice fall family walk to the falls and back. Wide flat trail makes it an easy outing. Fire pit at the falls is an amazing payoff for the kids if you remember to pack the marshmallows!

Beautiful and lightly travelled.

Parking fees, ya’ right. The money isn’t being used to maintain or mark the trails. The hike is doable but it’s misleading. The trails don’t need to be like sidewalks but some signs would certainly be helpful rather than the different colours on the trees.

had a great time will be going back

Great trails with some beautiful scenery however found it very confusing at times and ended up walking down the highway back to the parking lot.

We love this trail. My 3 and 5 year old kiddos can do it without being carried (well mostly) and every time we try a different trail on the way back we're rewarded with new (to us) amazing views. Highly recommend. Bring marshmallows and hot dogs for the campfire by the falls.

This is a really nice trail I would return to bike or snowshoe on. However, with the Barrie Gun Club so close there is the constant sound of gun shots. My one dog is sensitive to such sounds so her anxiety in response to this effected our experience. I am not sure if this was because it was a Saturday. There are most likely quieter times. I just put the warning out there to people and/or dogs who would be bothered by this.

I was very disappointed with this trail, not only was it not marked well but also it wasnt maintained. It isn't easy but more moderate to hard in some places. You also have to pay for parking and it's expensive $5.25 for 2hrs.
I wont be going back!

Glen Major Forest is where I go to forget the city for a few hours.

Beautiful trail. Very busy thanksgiving day. Did 6.5km with my family to the waterfall and around the reservoir. Pricey to park but trail is well maintained. Wish there was a per car load price

Peaceful hiking in middle of Fall

Thoroughly enjoyed getting right into nature on this hike. The path is narrow and for the most art, not maintained. In some areas the path was clear and there were boardwalks for short distances. The scenery was awesome! Fields of flowers, tall trees, babbling river — worth coming here for a nature trip! Wear comfortable shoes as the terrain varies quite a bit. And yes, there are a lot of red ants so comfortable shoes AND socks is a good idea. I’ll definitely be back to explore more!

Beautiful woods. Great trails for biking or hiking.

Absolutely amazing for hiking. The trails are clearly marked. There are plenty of different lengths of trails for different abilities. There were a few people horseback riding, so watch out for the horse poop on the trail. We were walking for an hour and did 2 trails. There is so much more to explore, I can't wait to go back.

Rode this beautiful trail with my wife today who is new to trail riding. The trail and surrounding trees and nature was superb, we totally enjoyed the 20 km round trip ride. We made many stops along the ride to take photos to capture the beauty. We rode in from the Woodstock entrance which was a bit tricky to find and parked on the road with no issues. Note that the entrance to the trail is at the corner of Vansittart Ave. and Frederick (59 Frederick Street on Google will get you there). I was impressed with the trail, very nice. Trail is complete from Woodstock to Hickson including the bridges.

Easy trail with nice forest path to the falls. Took about 30-40 minutes to reach the falls with frequent stops and leisurely walk. When you reach the falls, there is a wooden stairs to go down and take nice photos. Its a family friendly hike!

You can get lost for hours and it is the best thing ever!! This is a great trail for ATV !! 5 stars !!

To date the safest and most well marked trails I have been on as a solo female hiker. With so many trails to choose from with varying distances I could go there every weekend for weeks to do them all ( and plan too) These trails are very well marked and I would say are a mountain bikers dream. There was the perfect mix of flat terrain, hills, and forest. I did the Green C and added on the Red. I was also in search of the Fire Tower ( Oak Ridges Trail) but could not find it until I left. ( PS ... There is NO Fire tower) I didn't see any wild life or take any photos as the scenery was strictly forest with no ponds, lakes or scenic views. Cant' wait to go back in the fall to see the beautiful fall foliage as well as in the winter to snow show.
Side note... the Fire Tower is a good steep hike easily located across the street in the parking lot on the Morris Trail Head. I was disappointed that the actual Fire Tower was just a bunch of supports where the tower used to be and thus there was no view from the top at all.

I enjoyed the hike, trails were not busy at all. Saw some deer, wild turkeys, and a fox.
Although you can get lost easily because of too many trails and poor markings.
Main Tract Trail on this app is not correct in some places because of deforestation, took me a while to get through but there’s an alternative way.
Overall very nice place.

Lots of off-shoot options. Great trails.

Great trails

it could be a nicer place. IF dog owners would pick up after there dogs more often
also the portable washrooms are in horrible condition. they are not attended too as often as they should be.
also I really wish "DOG WALKERS" would not bring 5 PLUS BIG DOGS in the SMALL DOG off leash area as small dogs have gotten hurt

Nice to spend an afternoon there!

Went yesterday for a walk with my pup and the trails were covered in red aunts, I’ve never seen so many.
