Very nice and easy trail, however, it is a very heavy trafficked trail. Views on one side are great, other side not so much. Parking can be difficult at the trail head because of the amount of people.

Easy trail to a lookout. In November we went at 6 am and the colors were really good as the sun hit the red rocks at about 7 am glad we waited for the sun to rise over the mountains and hit the red rocks to the west! Beautiful!!!

Very beautiful, lots of shade and seen lots of Blue Jays

I love Boynton Canyon - beautiful red rocks and amazing positive energy throughout!

Amazing views but long and tiring hike when the sun is beating down. You get no relief from the sun for over half of the hike. Then when you think you are done, you keep climbing and hoping to get to the trail head. If you are lucky enough to get a parking spot at the actual trailhead, that is great. But if you have to park at the airport lot, the last .6 is not fun! But it was an awesome hike and I would do it again.

loved this trail, though there is a lot of noise from the resort and some of the rocky areas make it more moderate than easy. great sunrise photos of color on the red rocks

Pretty but not much of a hike.

Scouted it for horses and it's nice hike but not currently really horse friendly, tree down at the apex that's a little low to ride under and hard to get around. Some areas with bad root holes to watch out for if on horseback. Would be great for a trail run.

Start at Doe Mountain parking, go clockwise for big views early in the hike! Backside is mostly trek around base of mountain with a few views. At end of the hike we did run into a group with about 20 bikes... otherwise had trail mostly to ourselves. If you have the energy finish with the hike up Doe mountain... it is short, but steep, with good views from the top. The loop is 5.4 miles not counting Doe mountain.

nice trail, gave us a little work out. we went counter clock wise and came out through stlitstone.

Beautiful scenery. This trail took longer to hike than anticipated as several sections of the trail were somewhat washed out due to recent heavy rains. I would rate this trail as moderate rather than easy.

Loved it. Beautiful vistas and not that difficult.

Stunning sunset hike. But watch your step and bring plenty of water!

Take lots of water on hot days, careful to follow trails, aren’t marked well. We. were lost for some time! Got off trail and ended up going the wrong way! Lovely views of beautiful Sedona

Great hike. the trail starts by a resort which is loud. once you're past it, the trail is beautiful.

Very nice trail, 10 dollars to get in, worth it.

It’s a good, basic trail. Not terribly demanding for a stretch of the legs. If you’re a beginner or alittle out of condition it’s a great starting point.

The thing about Sedona trails, is that every one is amazing, and they’re just different. It’s like being in a restaurant where every dish is amazing, but there for different tastes.

I continue to be baffled by the AllTrails rating system. To call this one easy is ludicrous. It is a little over 3 miles out, a steady uphill climb of nearly 900 feet. The path has only a few easy stretches, most of it is ankle-busting roots and rocks. Sections of clambering especially last few hundred yards. The first part is more open and sunny, then it enters cool dense forest, and finishes close to the canyon walls.

Took me two hours, hiking fast and jogging in spots.

Although the Hilton “Enchantment” resort is in view for quite a long way, it is not bothersome, it is only to the left and it is built into the cliffs.

A solid moderate with a difficult finish.

Easy hike- pretty damn awesome views. Make sure to watch where you step. Smooth rocky path - easy to slip!

Great trail for sunset but don't wait to late to do the full loop it gets dark fast and it's a rocky trail. Take a headlamp for extra caution.

More moderate than expected, due to the rocks and uneven paths. Trail was easy to follow. Wouldn’t do it again but the views were nice.

Easy hike with great views!

beautiful views, easy hike

Great hike with many wonderful views.

Great first day hike to do to warm the legs up. Easy to do for all levels. Hiking thru the tall pines is beautiful and at the end looking back thru the canyon viewing it from the top is a pretty view.

Beautiful views and a pretty tough workout for a 57 year old with bad knees and ankles.

Beautiful red mountains in the background for most of the trail. We went after a rain storm so it was slightly muddy and slippery. We would actually rate this moderate due to tricky footing. The trail was well marked. We heard coyotes yipping nearby and saw a rabbit and birds. There are beautiful prickly pear cacti throughout. Pretty spooky, but would recommend!

Slide Rock is beautiful. It can be busy at times. We actually parked far, then just hiked down from where we parked. Found a secluded swim area. Not recommended for everyone to do this as it is a steep, primative hike down.

Nice hike with panoramic views of Sedona. Take lots of water on hot days - mostly shade-less hike. End your hike at the top of the Mesa - all around fun
