トレイルの整備も良い。バス停も近く、バスの便数も多いので便利。なんといっても景色を楽しみながら走れるのが良い。

Great views and a perfect introduction to HK if you just got here or are visiting. You can keep going to big wave bay for a dip after the hike. However, if you are looking for a challenge, that is definitely not be the right hike.

Beautiful trail with unreal views of the surrounding mountains. Get a permit many months in advance! We did the 2d1n and stayed in the lodge. If you end up reserving a lodge spot, make sure to have/rent a sleeping pad, warm sleeping bag, and pillow. And bring plenty of snacks! Unfortunately we didn't make it to the summit for sunrise (or at all) because of high winds, but the experience was still incredible.

Enjoy it nice trail

Fabulous views ending on lovely beach

Excellent - went off the path (dotted line midway) and encountered some steep terrain. Be sure to look over the trails beforehand if going off the busy one.

Lovely trail. Not too difficult. Great views.

Should note, the main map of this hike is from the cable car dropoff, not the full hike, which looks quite challenging. They said the last cable car is at 6, at least today, which is a regular week day, so plan accordingly. The cable car is not cheap either, $210 hkd round-trip for the standard. There’s apparently a hefty discount if you book online with koon or kool or something, so I wish I had known that.

Buddha is amazing and well worth the hike or the cable car, whichever you choose, as is the monastery. The area around it is a tourist trap though so if you’re on a budget, plan to bring a snack or something.

Beautiful views!

Welcome to Hong Kong- great atmosphere in the city as well as out. If you're coming from the monastery be prepared for a climb. It's worth it but there's some big elevation to climb in a short period so take breaks if you need. I saw only one person coming the way we came, Everyone else was coming from the other direction. The trail head is a ways back behind the monastery, you'll pass old an housing quarters/boarding home and what looks like an old restaurant. The initial climb is the hardest , mostly boulder size steps until you get to a clearing at the top with some large rocks to climb on for decent views. Some advice: it was mostly out in the open so if its hot, be prepared. The second stint is another short scramble to the top where you'll find a small shelter and 12-20 folks with selfie sticks. There are also large rocks to climb out on to get a better view. We hiked through to the other end and caught a bus back to HK.

Did this hike this morning and it offered amazing views of the beaches and skyline in the distance. It was a little tricky to get to the trail head from the MTR initially but once we were on it it was easy. On the other end we took a bus to shek o beach!

First of all, I was amazed at how pristine and litter free this Trail was! Given the fact that just a few miles away sits a huge metropolis of 7.3 million people. I truly didn't see any evidence of people having been there other than the trail signs and perfectly groomed trail itself.

As for the hike, it was beautiful! I wish I'd had more time to explore more of the trail network... it seemed to go everywhere and was well marked the entire time. One thing to watch for though, some of the water drainages can seem like a "trail" and we ended up walking up one for a half mile or so. which would be no big deal, we just didn't know what kind of critters we're lurking in the dense brush around us.

Overall, a really great hike for all skill levels. Great views, great experience.

Easy - moderate. Enjoyable & scenic walk with good clear signage along the way. Convenient access to start point as well as exit from the end point to the Mtr station.

Nice climb, great view. Not for casual hikers.

Fully paved trail, well marked, nice beaches and scenic views. But lacking the sense of adventure of an unpaved trail.
