Love it here!!!!

Nice hike wear appreciate footwear, can be muddy. But still loved it.

Neat hike, pretty easy. Cool water falls (3) Trails not marked well and needs better ways to get over streams with out getting wet.

awesome views! took my dog with me and he loved it as well. cedar falls and old man's cave get really busy but the gorge part of the trail was very quiet. would definitely do again! parking lot was fairly empty around 8:30am but at the end of the hike the place was packed.

awesome hike. creek part was real nice, and the steep inclines were a challenge but worth it! very quiet out there

Beautiful chilly spring day to enjoy this trail. The first half getting to cedar falls wore us out so taking the overlook trail on the way back was a nicer relaxing walk.

The campsite we stayed at had a trail that lead to Old Man's Cave so we decided that would be where our journey would start. We traveled downhill and through a small construction site where the new Visitors Center is being built and headed for the cave. It was like stepping into another world as the trail transitioned from dense forest to an open rocky gorge with running waterfalls and sandy pools. The stone bridges and steps that twist and turn through the gorge were fantastical. I had high expectations but these were quickly surpassed by the views and cliff faces.

A short trail and uphill climb lead to another beautiful stone outcrop with an amazing waterfall slowly dropping into an azure pool amongst the sandy floor. Another humbling experience that can't be missed when you visit the park. The trail to the cave is around 1 mile.

The Gorge trail was mostly paved but disappeared near the end for some awe inspiring views and another set of falls.

This place was again amazing as you can walk through areas that have been carved into the rock. The trail to and from the rock house was riddled with large boulders and natural sandstone steps that offered a little improvisational climbing. Trail length was around 1.5 miles.

Absolutely my favorite trail in Hocking Hills. We went in mid-March and it lightly snowed making everything even more beautiful. It is an easy trail that is paved about 80% of the way. The upper rim trail is not paved but is easy as well.

I can't understand why this isn't visited more. This is one of my favorite hike of all the trails in Hocking Hills (the rim is even better). The gorge is amazing with the massive cliff faces surrounding it. There are multiple caves along the trail as nice as Whispering Cave and even close to Old Man's Cave. For some reason, they paved the trail for most of the way. As soon as the pavement ends, the trail gets really good.

The outer loop is very neat with scenic spots along the way. Take your time and enjoy the easy trail.

The trail is in good shape for as much rain we have had. A decent about of steep up’s and down’s to get on and off the main trail.

Didn’t do the 8 mile. Took in most of the Fern Trail for ruggedness and scenery. 6.3 miles total.

we hiked this trail on new year's eve in low single digit temperatures. there were icy, difficult spots but no special equipment needed... and very few other hikers which made it a favorite! beautiful caves, cliffs, and waterfalls.

Me and my sons favorite of all! We pictured the Bible and how king David and his men hide in caves and how we would soooooo be down! Lol this park is such a awesome place to see!

Must see it for yourself

Loved it! It was all I could do to keep my kids out of the water. What a great park and nice hike. The water falls were so awesome.

Beautiful in the winter!

Beautiful, easy, not too crowded. Went in late December. The falls were starting to freeze and were gorgeous!

Rock House is an awesome stone feature. The hike is very short and easy. Do yourself a favor, and go when it’s cold, rainy, or early on a weekday, as it will be crowded in peak times. Hang out inside of the feature, and let your eyes adjust to see the layers of color in the stone.

This trail is a solid “moderate”, not easy. Noted some nice improvements to the entry.

Very easy short hike along a small stream into a beautiful ravine with high rock cliffs and a small waterfall.
