Trail was snow covered but passable, steps were slick and snow covered, still had a great time with 2 adults and 3 kids.
Great winter hike, got to try the new spikes and crampons- best gear yet for icy conditions!
The snow is very packed down so the steps are icy. Fun, but be prepared of enjoying after a good snowfall.
Way too many people, do not come
Nice winter hike, busy at the ends but quiet in the middle
First time doing Hocking in the snow...amazing.
Beautiful hike, but extremely icy. Stunning views on this crisp sunny winter day but with many stairs and steep sections, might be a bit more challenging to navigate for some this time of year.
Great winter hike. Trail was very icy. Lots of sliding on your butt but gorgeous views
Absolutely beautiful! worth the trip in the cold!
Super icy!! Bring poles and be ready to move slowly. So beautiful though
With one creek crossing and a little bushwhacking, I was able to combine two great hikes.
Beautiful! Trail is slick, but no issues when wearing micro spikes.
Really unique hike! Watch the ice. There are a lot of stairs and one of us slid from the top to the bottom of one set of stairs. There were a good number of people here despite the temperature.
