Very nice views. I love water falls and this trail is amazing!

Took my son and dog for an afternoon trip. Easy trail and safe. Beautiful views.

The hike was nice being right next to the creek the whole way, was soothing hearing the mini rapids. The falls was like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, well in a sense. :)

Very beautiful trail, people say it’s well trafficked but when I went one day during the week, and barely saw people out there. I went later in the day, passed by the campsite and there were people down there but I only passed 2-3 people/groups on the trail, so the seclusion made it even better.

Just like people say, it’s pretty anticlimactic if you choose not to make the little extra climb at the end to get up to see the waterfall, but you still pass by some on the way,

Love it.

Awesome hike! I loved this so much. The hike up to Blood Mt. summit wasn’t too bad and the trail is well marked for the most part (although I did get turn around at some points) and the view from the top as incredible. The Freeman loop was not as fun. It is very rocky and you have to watch your footing while also watching out for spider webs. I ran into some hugggeeee spiders, which was not ideal. Good news is that if you go soon, I already cleared them out for you! Most definitely would hike again!

This our trial run to get our packs adjusted before starting on the Application trail. we have been going here for many years, and love it

great hike in early spring when the flowers are blooming...great hike all around..bring a picnic lunch and have it on the flat rocks. you're welcome

Great trails for running and hiking.

4th time out here this year. The canyon walls are gorge-ous.

Not a difficult walk down to the bottom of the canyon, from there on it’s pretty flat and a lot of fun to explore!

Did this yesterday. Beautiful day, beautiful hike. Not for amateurs. I expected the Freeman’s Loop portion to be easier than it was. Very rocky. Some people brought dogs but I think my dog (who is great on some hikes) would have struggled.

Really peaceful and safe!
I did the full hike and wouldn’t call it “moderate”...I’m used to hiking and this trail kicked my butt. I also had quite a few slips (and one big fall) on the crumbling rock and saw other hikers struggling to keep their footing too. I can’t imagine kiddos being able to do it, but maybe if you take your time ;)
Overall, a good, challenging hike—but a little dangerous when it gets steep.

Did his about a week ago and had the best time ever! We should’ve stayed up top and just played around. The views were beautiful and the old shelter was cool (can’t wait to see what my fiend wrote on our next visit).

Take a lite lunch up top, and enjoy the view.

Beautiful Trail gradual incline well shaded. The sounds of the Creek is wonderful. Several really nice camp sites. We did our full pack shake down hike took our time. We spent an hour at the Cliff Falls had a snack filtered a liter
of water with a our Versa Flow. The round trip took 4:20 including our one hour break. Being beginners and the fact I am 54 and my wife is 53 and I am use to sitting on my brains for a living. We had a blast. Tomorrow we will try our first Backpack overnight.

Awesome trail and very crowded . So go early .

Great up and down... get good shoes as can be slippery

Well marked and great views at the top. LOTS of people.

The trail is very beautiful, amazing mini waterfalls along the way, but the ending is not worth it, decided to climb all the way to the top but is very dangerous, be cautious and watch your step.

We walked the loop with a break at the seats. It was 4.3 miles and definitely moderate. We enjoyed ourselves and saw people from toddler to elderly on the trail. Though would be nice if slower moving people would slide over so you can keep your pace but not a biggie.

No dogs are allowed (Pooh!) which is why I gave it a 3, but even without my sweet dog, it was nice. I believe there are only 2 trails on the south end of the lake that do allow dogs. With the popularity of this spot I can understand why no dogs but this area in general is just not dog friendly.

This was awesome. I loved that it was not paved...a real hike! you have to look down a lot because of tree roots .they are everywhere but its what makes this so great! you get a real work out. dogs are welcome and all were very well behaved. you get to walk along the water and there are several water falls along the trail....it was awesome to get to the end! beautiful place.

My second time here. Definitely worth the drive from Orlando.
What I like about this trail is that you are hiking along the water.

It’s a awesome place to get a quick hike in after work! Just a brief up and down. People can do t on their own since there are lots of other hikers! Fast way to get elevation near Atlanta. It could also be a good trail run! Not as scenic but easy and accessible:)
Pro tip: don’t go on a weekend because it’s CROWDED!

Good trail. Beautiful whole way.

enjoy this loop. Will incorporate some cut-off trails to legnthen.
