Great trail and scenic views. See quite a bit of flora and fauna. The sheer value of fungi growth is intriguing as well. A nice short semi-challenging loop.

If you start at lhht rt 30 trailhead it’s about 5 miles. Great scenery on the way to an amazing overlook.

Perfect weather today for the start of Fall! Knocked out 5.2 miles in 1 hour 28 minutes hiking. Met an awesome couple on Hemlock Ridge. One of my Top 10 favorite trails in the area.

Good workout! Lots of great incline.

Highly recommend this trail. Walked further than the 2.1 miles. Other trails to explore beyond this. Best this time of year. First day of fall!

Great scenic hike! Added in Sylvan Pond and Hemlock Ridge 6 miles but not difficult. Highly recommended.

Very fun and easy hike!

Great views, very child friendly. The only con was that people were smoking cigarettes throughout the trail. I thought Ohio was a “smoke-free” state, judging by the visitors here it’s not. Plus they should set up more recycling bins; the trash was overloaded with plastic.

Wolf rocks is a great place for a 2-3 hour loop trail hike and looking for a great view at the end of it! It’s perfect for a mild to moderate hike. Just be prepared to climb around on the large rocks at the end. Wear good footwear and be sure to have good footing! Nothing to catch you if you fall!

not too busy, views are amazing and the trail varies a lot which is great. people there always seem extremely nice, too

It was really nice during the first part of the trail, but it got VERY heavily trafficked around Brandywine Falls, making it harder to hike at your own pace.

Love this route. I do a winter hike here every year!

Nice little park. Clean & well maintained. Fish were biting:)

I like this trail and always extend it by taking the trail to Stanford House. The hike offers water views, the opportunity to get in the river, and when you head to Stanford House you go through a nice meadow as well. From Stanford House you can easily access the Tow Path and head down to Boston to hit the visitors center and park shop. I like to grab a snack and sit on the porch of the visitors center as a break before heading back.

This one always kicks my butt! Several hills and steps in this one, so if you’re looking for a cardio intensive hike, this is for you. Heavily used by trail runners as well.

Challenging trail and hike, but it is beautiful to hike through. One if my favorites to do. Very slippery spots here and there, but I’m sure it’s because of the rain we have been getting and it doesn’t have time to dry due to the trail being shady.

Great hike even in the rain.

This trail was surprisingly pretty. I enjoyed the four creek crossings. On the farthest point from the beginning of the hike, there are open fields of tall grass. It was quite beautiful in the rain.

Pretty views of the lake and beautiful late summer flowers.

The views at Walborn are spectacular. Winding through the woods, popping out on an opening to the reservoir, then through open fields. Walborn is my go-to spot!

I've been to Chapin more than a dozen times. The trails are simple, the view of the city is gorgeous, and if you go off the trail to explore the "off limit" areas, there are some lovely lounge spots to just sit, relax and watch the sun set.

Amazing hike!! So much to see and explore along this trail... you really get a bit of everything. Bring a camera with a nice lens and capture some great nature photos with the family!!! Can't wait to go back!

Shore line views are stunning. Lots of roots and bridges. Great fun and challenging.

Incredible hike. One of my favorite. Ice Box Cave was closed due to an initiative aiming to preserve the bats that inhabit the area. Saw many families and couples. Easy hike with incredible views.

Nice enough hike through deciduous and some pine forest on the way to the ‘cave’ area. Slump rock cave was nice to look at. But, there are more impressive options in the area.
Would be a nice trail for a run.

Really enjoyed the hike with the family and dog. Walked counterclockwise on the loop. It was nice ending at the river.
