nice easy hike. At the end of the hike there's huge rocks and boulders you can navigate through to take in the beautiful views that stonewall peak has to offer.

Enjoyed this trail, scenery was beautiful

Nice and easy trail. My wife, me, & dog Bernie started at 7am and had the place to ourselves. We did the ridge first and took the canyon back. Not a super exciting trail but if you’re looking to get out into nature this is a good hike. Enjoy.

Perfect hike for beginners, multiple trails let’s you choose how long you’d like to hike for.

longer than indicated. full sun exposure towards the top.

Very easy trial. Small incline at the beginning-maybe a tenth of a mile and that’s about it. Lots of switchbacks and the views all the way to the top were amazing. Loved the stairs leading to the summit. However huge infestation of termites at the summit. So definitely didn’t hang out at the summit for too long. They flew and landed all over my friend. The views at the summit are definitely worth it. It was beautiful. We went early enough we didn’t see any snakes at all but we were definitely definitely wary and watching out for them. Definitely do this hike. You won’t be disappointed.

First time here had a great time. Only went about half way in but I’m really overweight and out of shape and did 5 miles round trip pretty easily. Had a few swimming holes we swam in. Would do it again.

I loved this hike! Lots of shade to cool under and it’s a quiet hike. This place is beautiful! No one was on the trail when I went so all I was able to hear was the animals in the bushes, birds chirping and lizards moving around. The first time getting here I didn’t know there was a $5 day fee. I ended up just getting a annual pass all year so I can go back here. The camping spots are very pretty. Some have huge spots available with great shade!

came to hike I usually go to Simpson Park but wanted to try a new Trail however all trails are closed at Diamond Valley Lake until further notice I was extremely disappointed

First time doing this trail. Liked it a lot. Quiet with great river views. Only thing I didn’t like was the amount of dog excrement along the trail.

trail running

Great flats and hills to practice on. Not too many people. Impossible to get lost in. Easy 5 miler.

Love this trail. not good for out of shape seniors. There are some narrow cliffs and boulders that they could easily get hurt on. I'm upper 50's and take my dog several times a month. scenic, peaceful and not too strenuous.

Trails need to be marked clearer Not the worst but not the best

Great little hike. Plenty of shade in the am hours. At the peak monument there is a huge infestation of termites, pretty gross!

Good hike with nice views. Plenty of shade throughout the trail to help with the hot days...

Nicely done trail

its close, up to speed for me, and I would be ok doing this trail by myself.

Nice and quiet. Quite a bit of poison oak tho

This is a great campground to have smack dab in the middle of nowhere. It was a great experience and there is a ton of adventure to be had.

This trail system only gets better through the years. The group that designs and builds the trails know their stuff when it comes to trail layout.

Fun trail with beautiful views. Not difficult at all, but does have some tricky spots. Our dog loved it! There were also people fishing and getting photos taken while we were there. The river was why we went on this hike and we will definitely be back!

Love this trail! The water crossing are fun and nice for the horses when it’s hot. There’s plenty of shade and nice footing for your horse!

Nice Chill Place To Hike

Great place for simple exercise walk or Mtb.
Coyotes. Rabbits. Squirrels. Raccoons. Snakes.
And I think I spotted a Weasel!
Ducks and Geese in the big lake.
Plenty of camping with just-upgraded sites.
Reservations needed.
Some very LOUD Peacocks in a nearby yard.

Interesting trail, great incline at the beginning and then trail stops because it is overgrown.

Nice walk with the fam

Great trail, like the other reviews said, pretty easy to start with a few slick places. Saw tons of poison oak, poison ivy and a big rattlesnake, so keep an eye out.
