I’ve done this hike almost a dozen times, it’s my favorite to bring friends to when they come visit Vegas. The rock scrambling and lack of clear path makes it very dynamic, and the views both during and at the very end are just amazing. There’s a rock I just lay down on at the very end, letting me cloud gaze while getting the best view of the city. Best trail honestly.

Snagged a wilderness permit and we did the 16 miles down... sleeping overnight at campsite 10. Was amazing!!

Boring. Easy.

Definitely hard but still doable! Totally worth it, must get in the springs & go to the lake. So beautiful & relaxing before the hike back

Awesome !!! It’s a 3hrs to get all the way down to the lake and another 3 hrs back ... 8 miles in total

Great, easy hike that can be leisurely done in about 2 hours.

BUTTTTTT, i feel it was even MORE AMAZING!!!
If there’s anything I could suggest is catch yourself here at sunset, that way you can catch the stars and the silhouettes of the mountainsand trees!

Bring a flashlight!!! But yeah it’s super fucking DOOOOPE! DOOOO IT BROSEPHERS!✊

Great hike! Did the whole loop, 3 good size hot spring pools.

Not too challenging! Beautiful views!

Great hike for all ages! Some technical areas, bouldering, ropes in place. Heavily trafficked.

Good trail

Cool and nice. Water is very urgent and fast. Fell down a couple times.

Nice easy walk with dog. Not much elevation gain. Be careful of twisting an ankle, lots of rocks going up.

Fun trail. The hot springs are a really cool feature. I hiked this in October and the weather was perfect. I also hiked out to the overview.

great hike and awesome hot springs!

5 star hike, perfect hike to go with your family or amateurs hikers. Nice views at the end of the trail.

Great trail, first time bouldering! Back snacks and enough water. Gloves for climbing rocks helpful.

Beautiful, scenic trail. Took me about 2 hours to hike there and back including resting and picture taking.

Trail closed at 3rd tunnel - we did not see any signs that it was closed until we got to that point. Tried from the Hoover dam side the next day and again there were no signs that the trail was closed. We hiked to the first tunnel and found the gates closed so could go no further. Terrible communication from the park service.

Nice hike took my wife and I 1 hour to get to top. Great views of Vegas. My 50th birthday hike. Life is GREAT!

Neat trial heavily traveled. Just about right for my wife and I. My 50th birthday and made it to the top in 1 hour. Great view of Vegas!

It’s a steady uphill climb that’s a good workout. Great quick hike to get the blood flowing. I didn’t think it was “easy” by any means.

This hike was fantastic! It’s my favorite hike I’ve ever done, actually. Make sure you bring a lot of water (1 gallon per person). It has a nice parking area and you begin the hike under an overpass. We took the south route down and the same route back as we struggled to find the other portion of the loop (and the map at the parking lot is confusing as it’s upside down), but the south route was great. This meant we went through the hot springs twice, which was fun. Hot water, stunning scenery and incredible slot canyons. Bring extra shoes and be prepared to get wet up to your knees. We made the whole loop in about 3 hours, and we were moving pretty fast. Absolutely worth it. Can’t wait to do this again.

loved the view

Enjoyed this hike with my fiancé. We had a bit of a time getting up and I slipped and fell. Have proper footwear cuz the rocks are loose and there is no railing. Wouldn’t suggest this for children past halfway point.

We did not actualy attempted the trail because we called the owners (the Tait family) and they told us there was alot of rain in the past few weeks and the canyon must be filled with water so the hike would not be enjoyable. Instead of trespassing on their propriety, give them a call: 1-435-648-2522. Be polite and honest about your intention and they will gladly answer your questions and let you access their land.
