Pleasant trail. Many viewpoints along the canyon ridges. Expect heavy traffic on weekends...

Beautiful scenery. Absolutely beautiful during fall whenever the leaves are changing.

Fantastic trail, Lots of beautiful lookout points. Include the waterfalls trail and you have a great 7 miles of waterfalls, Streams and gorgeous canyon views.

Nice easy trail with pretty overlooks of mountains.

The river crossings were more challenging than expected but the waterfall was certainly worth the wet feet. You definitely need proper hiking boots trying to walk across the river rocks and maybe an extra pair of dry socks.

Beautiful hike - lots of roots and rocks! This time I combined with Sitton Gulch for 10+ mile hike

Beautiful trail!!

The trail has changed alot since the storms we had this year. crossing the river was a challenge for my short legs I wouldn't have made it if my husband hadn't helped me. The waterfall was beautiful as always though.

Very good trail. 2.6 miles and worth the effort! Watch out for a lot of roots along g the path though. I'd give it a moderate rating.

Gorgeous!! The hike would be classed MODERATE as rated. Mainly because of the roots and rocks one has to navigate on virtually the whole trail. The views are incredible and we caught the Fall foliage just at the right time!! November 3rd was a perfect day for our hike. I recommend this to all my hiking friends.

Beautiful and a good hike with some challenging parts! Crowded at the beginning/end. Do the waterfalls trail while you’re there!

Great overlooks. Beautiful fall colors Nov 4th. We got there about 1030 and not awful crowded but on the way out near the beginning of the trail lots of hikers just arriving. Glad we came on the earlier side! Took us a little over 2 hours. This trail has some ups/downs but a good deal of fairly level walking too. Definitely lots of roots and rocks.

Wow! Beauty all around but it was definitely a Moderate hike. So many rocks and roots to navigate along the way but worth it. Just have to take your time. The water, rock formations and multiple lookouts were spectacular. Leaves were peak so lots of people. Go early and you might get some peaceful moments!

Tough to beat!

Started from the Frozen Creek access. Hiking to the campsites and river was decent, not a ton to look at, but once you reach the destination, it's worth it. I went in early January, so it was cold, reaching about 0 degrees the two nights I camped. But staying at the campsite, where there are firepits, picnic tables, and water access to the river was perfect. Would hike again.

Straight up for just under 4 miles but was very worth it. Loved the view from the top!

Moderate-difficult. Very steep.

This is a steep uphill hike that is worth the climb.

Scenery is absolutely amazing! The overlooks are breathtaking.

Did this trail with my partner. We're both not in great shape and this trail offered a great challenge and reward. first time through we took a right at the fork and almost went into private property. Came back the next day and went the proper way. As others have said there are lots of downed trees. Some climbing is required in certain parts. The falls are beautiful. Be careful!

If you get a chance to hike this trail don’t pass it up.

Great hike with beautiful scenic views. The stairs are the only real challenge.

Great trail to get a practice run in. It’s beautiful if you walk and see all of the ‘different’ falls.

Nice hike this morning to Andrews Bald. We arrived at Clingmans Dome parking area at 0800 to be the crowds. We succeeded in that but barely any views due to early fog. Wish we would have waited till later in the morning. Love the trail and the forest we passed through. Will definitely be back again!!!

Great trail with lots of variety ie. Waterfalls, streams, big rocks, beautiful overlooks.

The falls at the end are worth the effort it takes to get there. Hurricane Florence took its toll on this trail so you have to climb over and around trees. I do not recommend this trail for children or small dogs. You need both hands to maneuver some of the areas and it is very rocky and slick almost from the beginning. Gorgeous waterfall.

Awesome, the stairs to the falls was tough.

Steep and challenging, but the view from the top is worth it. I was able to get some of the best Milky Way photos of my life from the top at night.

An ok trail to hike especially if you are camping at Davidson River. Nothing really stood out.

Lots of damage at present due to Hurricane Florence.
