This is one of my favorite trails in the Boston area. From the diversity of trees to the views of the harbor, it always manages to wow me. The dogs love it too since there are a few spots for them to get down to the water. The trails are wide, well-maintained, and clean with only minimal changes in elevation. Managed to spot 4 deer today.
9.2 for me along mostly this same loop. Trails very well marked in Naonnet, and moderately well in Hale. Lots of ponds and beaches, some dog walkers.
Beautiful hike, moderate traffic on a Saturday, lots of trails, great area for family
Pretty good but a little muddy
You do need a reservation! I was lucky enough that someone had canceled when I had arrived. Beautiful!
Muddy but nice
Gorgeous views, a little muddy, but awesome in the sunshine
Simply stunning! Great views!
Felt like the British Countryside. Gorgeous vistas.
Magical.
Very good
Hike through an abandoned summer camp. Couple of peaks, didn’t see a soul for hours
Lovely trails, few people and some nice ponds to see. A little hard to navigate as some mountain bike trails go in and out and aren’t on the map.
Occasional great views, but mostly difficult to tell trail from trees.
