Such a beautiful trail!

on Kings River Falls Trail

The hiking is easy and the floating is good these days.
The pool is the best pool I have ever been in.

Easy hike more of a walk except for the stairs at the end. Beautiful falls when flowing.

By far one of the best trails in Arkansas. The trail is maintained and there are so many cool sights. Waterfalls if recent rain. River/creek runs beside the trail. Cave at the end. And more. Just do it!!

This trail had some cool rock formations along the way. I wish we could have gone into the bat caves!

on Hemmed in Hollow Trail

One of the hardest trail I’ve ever experienced BUT it is really worth it.
Even though, the waterfall was barely floating but it was beautiful and the formation of the surroundings was amazing.

I will do it again on the spring!!

Very well maintained trail with a nice walk along the side the river to a nice waterfall with a great swimming hole under it. The river was very low but still flowing enough to get wet in the swimming hole.

Great hike for all ages, we saw kids as young as 3 walking the trail! Some more challenging portions with some good inclines, but no scrambling. Lots of features to look at including large crevasses next to the trail. Side note: all caves closed to protect bats from White Fungus Disease.

Great hiking for the family. Some drop offs but with proper guidance from parent child should be fine. Great views, no waterfall as it hasn't rained much recently, but still a really great hike. It was a quick trail but enough challenge for our kids (8 year olds) to be tired on the drive home.

An excellent hiking trail with something interesting to see almost the entire way. I took the Grotto leg of the trail first which meant climbing out the Natural Bridge leg at the end. I think it would have been easier doing the reverse. Overall, a very enjoyable trail that can be very taxing depending on what shape you are in. Take plenty of water and snacks.

love this trail..get to explore inside the cave with a waterfalls...nature is just magical.

This is one of the most difficult and most rewarding trails I’ve ever been on. The trail is well maintained and easy to navigate. The creeks and waterfalls were pretty dry, but the exposed rock formations were beautiful. There’s a really amazing overlook at the first campsite you encounter. It’s worth pausing for a minute just to take in the view. The “end” of the trail is so beautiful! It’s seriously like walking into a cathedral and the echo was one of my favorite features. The climb out was so hard. Had to stop for heart rate and breathing breaks. This trail is so worth the work you’re about to put in.

We liked this one, but if river levels are low there is not much to see.
The trailhead is very poorly marked with virtually no parking lot, so just beware as you arrive. No bathrooms at trailhead.

Amazing! Starts out simple then gets a bit more interesting quickly. Make sure you check river levels- it’s cool to see no matter what level, but you can adjust your expectations. The caves and waterfall are incredible. Great icebox to hang out in and cool down.

Awesome rock formations, caves, and ice box.

We were looking for a nice walking trail and this fit the bill. We did about 3 miles round-trip on the bike path. Picked up a couple pieces of trash, but the grounds were, overall, well kept.

This is hardly a trail. The falls are pretty. I decided to take a swim in them because I had just hiked the Pack Rat Falls Trail. It was definitely a good way to cool off.

This is such an amazing Trail. I absolutely loved squat walking to get into the cave that had the hidden waterfall. Nature is so magical!

The rock climbing and exploring is top notch!

Instead of hiking from the Compton trailhead, we actually ended up hiking from a trailhead at Kyle's landing. The trail definitely need some maintenance and there were hardly any markers until you got to the compton trail pass and merged from there. From Kyle's landing, the trail doesn't have as much grueling up or down hill hiking, however you do end up crossing the buffalo river about 5 times out (10 total). It was also easy to get lost since the trail wasnt properly marked, we ended up down another trail that took us an extra mile in a circle. you get to see some really cool old barns and houses on this side of the trail though. it ends up being about 6.5 miles, if you don't get lost!

I absolutely loved it here. Clear, clean, drinkable, sweet, spring water! My kids swam here and loved it. It was hard finding the marked trail, but there is one. You can get lost here so be careful, but follow the water and you should be fine. You can kayak here as well as camp and depending on where you are, fishing is also an option. Make sure to go up the mountain on a full tank. Nearest gas station is a 15 min drive away depending on what side of the mountain you are on. The view is beautiful and so serene.

The Grotto was beautiful!

I absolutely loved this trail. I completed it after climbing the summit trail at Nebo, so I was exhausted by the end. I recommend making this a one trail day trip...so many beautiful streams and cliffs. Also, make sure you empty your bladder before you go because you hear running water almost the entire time.

Not a long trail. Runs along rocky stream to falls. very beautiful end of trail. Finding where to start it is a bit of a trick. It looks like a private road. Must park on opposite side of 74 in small 2 car parking area. ...Walk down the dirt(rock) road past private pond on your left ...could be muddy water on track road. Keep going until you see the National Forest Marker...that's where the real trail starts. It can be tricky to see the full falls to the bottom. The main trail ends at the top. Thr cascading water to try falls was a great place to rest and enjoy the beauty. ...Trail is not marked and not a groomed. I would do it again!

Gorgeous trail, a little more taxing than what I expected. Should have brought a little more than one small bottle of water. Trails are clearly marked, and The Grotto/waterfall was gorgeous, and the waterfall was so cold and refreshing. There was no cell service the entire time, so just something to keep in mind. The round trip loop with a stop/splash at the Grotto took about 2 1/2 hours.
