Great trail with lots of Geocaches! Drone footage can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMt2gbNfKQU

Lovely short hike!!!

Awesome trail. Great scenery. Dogs allowed. So many little streams and great waterfalls. Looking forward to doing it again.

Great hike with shade. Beautiful views along the coast. Came here on a Saturday morning before 10am and was able to find parking in the Lands End Lookout parking lot. After our hike, cars were waiting around for parking. Highly recommend.

We started the hike from ohlone college. Parking was not a problem. Started at 8:30 am. Weather was perfect today, partly cloudy. One of the good workout hike. This is definitely not an easy one. But not that cannot be done. Hike at your own pace and you should be fine. Views from the top were mind blowing. I would love to do it again!

Wonderful place. Relaxed easy hike. Better on weekdays

Great cliff side hike with periodic framed views west. A few boulder scrambles but well-maintained trail. Obnoxious gun fusillades at the Goat point on the weekend.

Beautiful trail!
Lots of coast, big waves stunning view, and valley view!
Some flower on the way, and beach right next to the trail head, so you can relax after you finish the trail.

Parking has 2 layers, there is a dirt road on the left of the lower layer for you to go up, plenty spaces available.

Bring your jackets! Very windy especially you get to top.

Climbing up is a good workout, coming down if a bit challenge for knees.

Parked at Rock Springs. Hiked counterclockwise - down Simmons-Bernstein-Kent to Alpine Lake then back up on Helen Market-Cataract Falls. Good water flow after the recent rains. Hiked: 8.4 miles, 4 hours.

I did this hike on my own, it was great. The weather was perfect and the views are outstanding. Totally doable, but an excellent work out.

Yep we did it in the pouring rain & it was still spectacular! The falls were fanastic & all the trails were streams. Its going to be amazing for the next few days while all the water rushes down. Beautiful scenery & habitats & plenty of newts hiking with us.

Awesome spot !

Gorgeous views - definitely very busy but the scenery makes all the traffic worthwhile

Beautiful and relatively relaxed trail that goes inland and to the beach.

Very nice trail with diverse scenery. Great views from the rock climbing spots.

Steep climb and descent but great views

Full moon hike FTW! Planned it so we’d catch sunset from the top, but the real highlight was moonrise! Forget the crowds during the day, this is a great one at night, but FYI, Stanford Ave curfew is 8pm, so if you plan on staying longer then use the Ohlone College entrance which is open until 10pm.

- Parking: plentiful; there is parking right at the base of hike entrance
- Restrooms: 2 portable bathrooms at parking lot
- Shoes: recommend anything with good tread, since the trails are quite pebbly / sandy
- Views: I love that this hike has views in multiple different directions, and you can go above the clouds!
- Coverage: almost completely exposed. Use sunscreen and hats.
- Other things I wish I knew: (1) Summit does not have grassy patches for sitting nor tables; if you have lunch there, I recommend bringing blanket (2) The view is beautiful on a slightly foggy / cloudy day (3) Wear shoes with good tread

Easy hike but also easy to loose the trail.
But that’s also because I was distracted by the views. Stunning. Fun. Do it.

It was okay, not my favorite.

You get to see people rock climbing its pretty cool!
Nice Hike

I been here a 100 times and I love it. Such a great workout. My dogs can't make it I usually carry them in my backpack. If you go really early you get to hang out with the cows. :)

Amazing trail. Love the stair case and also the old base! Good for all types.

Great trail, mostly because it is so close to SF and surrounding area. An easy 20 minutes drive from SF and your in the coastal mountain ridge line. Beautiful!

Yes it’s not dirt but once you get up to the top you can choose dirt and take other trails along the ridge. Great way to spend the morning!

The trail is very well marked and not too difficult for even beginner- intermediate hikers.

The view from the top is amazing. On a clear day you can see all the way out to SF and the Golden Gate bridge.

On your way up, take a small detour to see Jeff Cave. It's worth the extra time.

There are many different options to complete this loop. The loop has a lot of features, redwoods, ocean viewpoint, creek. It was a good climb at the latter half, and the trail has a lot of shades. Once passed the first descending part it would be a very good trail for running too.
One can see a lot of different scenes in this one loop. from mountain to ocean, from bare ground to tree canopies, from mountaintop to creek valleys.
Definitely worth the effort of completing the whole loop.

Amazing views. Around every turn was another incredible sight. This is a must do if you're in the area.

Very hard trail in terms of elevation gain but totally worth it. Only problem is it is too open but great vistas from the top.
