Hike with Kids 2018 Map

great views for not that much effort. enjoyable to walk around the entire summit.

Very pretty loop with nice views of Cathedral Rock. It was quite a bit longer than 2 miles, though, according to my pedometer. Probably closer to 3. We started on the creek side and went clockwise, which turned out to be more difficult, but it was still really lovely. Almost everyone else was coming the opposite way and had more downhill.

For someone who loves to be outdoors and enjoys new trails! Took my 10year old and 4mos baby on this hike in the evening. Took us about 1hour and 40mins. The trail was easy to follow, the Views are beautiful, and it was very nice in the canyon area. Definitely would come back again.

Nice family trail.

These directions took us to Thumb Butte. There were no signs that read “White Rock,” so we asked someone who said she was a hiker who frequented the area and had never heard of White Rock Loop. This is not the first time the directions in this app have led us to locations that were incorrect.

Beautiful trail, great views

Great place too walk the dogs.

Lots of fun. Beautiful views. Easy on the knees. Easy parking lot access.

Pleasantly surprised as we continued to climb. Some switchbacks but a gradual climb until the last .2. But it is an amazing hike. Once at the top, so many awesome views that are breathtaking. Once on the Mesa, it can be difficult to follow a trail since they are unmaintained. Pay close attention to where the trail ended at the top for you will need to know where to go to find your way back down. Can be difficult to find the trail going back down but so worth the climb. Tough on the knees going down.

So more rad when you get to the very top! Valley views and city lights. Such a great local trail!

We used Baldwin as our starting point to Cathedral Rock (via Templeton) and completed the Baldwin Loop on our return. It's a pretty hike and not strenuous.

We arrived around 10 am on a Sunday in early November and didn't have any trouble with parking. I definitely recommend this as a way to avoid the crowds parking at Cathedral Rock, but I probably wouldn't do Baldwin again on its own because it doesn't offer much that you won't see on other hikes in the area.

Loved this trail lots of people but incredibly peaceful. Took my son next time we’re going to take our dog

Worst trail ever!

Great hike to take the dogs on. Trail was deserted with great views

It was a bit easier than we thought but a great first hike to break in the new boots.

Short hike that's great for families and dog friendly. The petroglyphs are worth the stop.

A good, easy trail that can be done in an hour with pretty views.

Awesome hike! I didn't know this gem was out there! Beautiful views, good coverage, and plenty people on a Saturday!

what a beautiful walk......71 degrees and still leafs on the Aspen's!

beautiful trail, took lots of pictures

The trail itself does not lead anywhere too special as far as we could tell, so we kept on the AZ trail and went to fishers point. Beautiful!

Beautiful scenery! Loved the hike

Great scenery and some cool cave passages. The cave was a little hard to find, didn’t need to go all the way to the water and it’s under the rocks you are climbing down. There are better passages down and around the main cave...will have to do some rock scrambling. Short but sweet.

Easy trail for all skill levels

Very nice trail, 10 dollars to get in, worth it.

I really enjoy this park. There are so many different trails that you can take a different one each time. Also as a mother to a newborn, it’s stroller friendly. There is a lot of wildlife such as ducks, geese and rabbits. My only suggestion is, bring bug spray. Being close to the water there are a lot of mosquitoes out there.

Fun for the kids. Pretty little pond, lake looking area. Can do a quick hike if you feel like it or enjoy the view.

Nice and easy!

beautiful trail with spectacular views. It's fun for the family.

great walk and explore not hard apt all
