The previous post said it all

rained heavily the day before. definitely got out feet wet. not a chance of keeping them dry. left the trail several times to explore the west side of the river. again if you want the easiest route, stay on the east side of the river. hints: as you advance down the trail you will come to rock formations which seem to end the trail. if you climb these rock formations you will find the trail on the other side. we made several deviations off the trail because we simply didn't look far enough when the trail seemed to end. on the return trip back to the camp grounds we're stayed on the trail and only had to cross the river/ stream three or four times. as I said it rained heavily the day before and we were forced to Ford the river in areas where it normally would not be as deep. a great day, look forward to taking some adventurous friend back out to the bridge.

Your body delivers a protein called Antiaging Serum Plus collagen that is principally made out of amino acids called peptides. As you age, creation levels drop, causing slight, wrinkled skin. At the point when utilized as a part of a serum, peptides animate repair and development. Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3 (trademark name: Matrixyl 3000) invigorates profound layers of skin. Heading: 2 hours, we decided to go through the river jumping over rocks and through the mud vs the traditional route.

Return: ~1.5 hours, on the way back we took back the traditional road and only had to cross the river like 3x.

Weather: there is alot of overhead trees, thus not much exposure to the sun. It gets cold quickly if you go in the mornings. But once you reach the bridge, its pretty exposed and the feeling of the sun rays hitting your numb face is the best feeling ever!

Cargo: not a strenuous hike. Shorts, t shirt and a windbreaker (recommended, again not alot of sun and it gets windy in the mornings). Water proof hiking boots. You will get wet.

Summary: We did the hike with the intention of getting into the watering holes at the base of the bridge however it was extremely cold and probably would have got hypothermia jumping into the water haha. Regardless, the hike is really fun, especially running through the water. Hard to get lost, only really one way to go there and back. On our return, we saw big horned sheep!! I'll probably do this trail again when it gets hot to get in the water. Recommend to all!

Amazing weather amazing scenery

Great hike overall! Lost the trail a few times heading out to the bridge but when in doubt stay to the right side of the river and you will find the trail again. You will get your feet wet at the river crossings so be prepared. Suggest trekking polls to help balance on slippery wet rocks while crossing too. Bring plenty of water. We started at 8am and it was a cool 45 degrees, upon the return it was a toasty 77 and sunny! Our entire group of ten, experienced and not so experienced hikers enjoyed the day. Plan on 5-6hrs to complete the which gives you time at the bridge to explore.

This was a great hiking experience! I have done it twice and I am sure to return again.

It is not an easy hike even if there is not much elevation gain. It is after all 10 miles and you are stepping over logs, rocks, crossing streams, etc...some people have written that it is easy and they have done it in less than 4 hrs. which I find hard to believe...it took us about 5 1/2 hrs of hiking plus one hour spent at the bridge and in the pools. We started early with some shade but that only lasted for about 3 of the 10 miles total.

The sights and sounds of this hike are beautiful...no houses, power lines, traffic noise...just the beautiful sound of running water. The water not only sounded great, it looked amazing, felt refreshing, and tasted great. It looked so clean and felt so cool and refreshing that I not only got in the water at the bridge I tasted some of the water on the hike back and lived to tell about it.

Great hike today up to the bridge. Couldn’t ask for better weather

This was a really fun hike. I spent 2 nights at Kelly's Camp and an interesting snowy night the last night. This trail is really beautiful with lots of views.

This hike was perfect for the day we went. We ended up going right after a mild snow day, still some traffic but not heavy. It was absolutely beautiful. We didn’t make it to the top, we stopped at about 3.5 miles and turned back, I didn’t wear the right shoes for how slippery the ice was. Regardless, hiking in the snow was beautiful, temperature was mid 30s, making it perfect for a cloudless day hiking in the snow.

Loved it! Especially in the rain

I imagine it may be nicer during the week, but very crowded on a Sunday morning, even in early February. We picked up lots of trash (wrappers and empty chip bags) near the base of the waterfall :(

I enjoyed the hike. the views were beautiful and the sound of nature was a great escape from the city. Warning!!! you will get your feet wet!

Great day hike - really enjoyed the change of terrain. Highly recommend!!!

great little hike to start on. narrow trails, that take you on gradual slopes. when you arrive its a little anti climatic as you are approaching from the top of the falls, but a quick scramble down the rocks can lead to great photos. dogs may haveca hard time after the falls as drops down the boulders are a few feet or more. great hike to do in conjuction with sturtvant as you can follor the right side of the river to the bridge and connect with the more popular trail.

Amazing trails. Beautiful view

Quick hike with my dog. Beautiful waterfall at the end of the trail but there is some scrambling and crossing of streams. Overall, I enjoyed this hike in the middle of the week starting at about 11am and at the end of February! Not too hot!

excellent trail running along a creek that changes monthly. lots of fallen trees and rock. so many great stops, including old cabin foundations.

although it's rated as difficult, the first few miles are pretty easy.

What a great hike. Crossing the river without getting wet proves to be a challenge. However getting your shoes wet is not that big a deal , actually refreshing.

Our group of 8, consisting of 4 adults and 4 children ages 5, 7, 8 and 12, completed this hike on a beautiful Sunday. The weather was perfect and it was very exciting to see the Bungee Jumpers off the bridge. Overall, the hike was fun but not very strenuous. Reason for 3 stars, was the lack of a trail and we ended up getting “lost” a few times. Be aware, that your feet WILL get wet crossing the stream so best to bring a pair of shoes to change into on the way home.

I love this hike because of all of the river crossings! And I love swimming in the water holes under the bridge.

Hands down one of my favorite hikes. From start to finish, the scene was beautiful and so much to appreciate. Got wet a few times but I didn’t care, just bring an extra pair of socks at the end. Pay for the parking pass too. Enjoyed it thoroughly!

Can get very crowded. Get there early morning or late in the day to avoid the crowd.

I really enjoyed this trail... we went the wrong way on our way to the bridge and ended up crossing the river 3 extra times.... stay to the right of the stream as much as possible.. dog friendly.. fun terrain

Great hike, kid friendly, beautiful waterfall at the end.

Nice scenic hike. I definitely enjoyed the water and it’s crossings.

I’ve never seen a trail so trashed and crowded in all of my hiking. Literally trash everywhere. Every other group we passed had music blaring from speakers attached to their backpacks. It would probably be a very pretty hike super early on a weekday morning... that’s the only way I’d ever give that trail a second chance.

Great place, my legs were hurting by the end of the day. I will be returning. parking permit are only needed at the starting trail, when you see the sign that says permits are sold at the store. they only take cash.
