Hike Map

excellent trail to hike and have a little fun climbing the rocks . enjoy the rocks be a kid again.

Great bit of trail. Difficult sections are followed by easy trail. Oakland Run is an awesome creek with plenty of mini waterfalls. The trail becomes pointless after you reach game lands; it basically becomes a grassy access road.

Wonderful for children with lots of explorable spots along the trail. On 9/22, muddy in low spots near beginning and about 3/4 through, but not terrible with appropriate footwear. You can choose to walk around in most spots. My children chose not to. Most of trail is dry and comfortable.

Nice clean trail. Had to keep a watch out for bikers coming up from behind. Loved the goats and gnome village as well as the Dick Winters memorial and statue port o potty was full on a Saturday.

Awesome! Beautiful rocks and some fun scrambling!

Pretty trail but not paved, so can be a good workout if pulling a toddler in a trailer!! Will be back to complete the trail :)

I'm glad I took others advise and started on the other side of the bridge. First 4 miles are pretty hard. The last 3 are easy. Nice hike though. A lot of diversity. Woods, fields, cropland, hills, and valleys. I will probably do this one again.

This is close to home for me and it's my go-to when I'm bored with dog walking in town. Easy, pleasant walk/hike and a quick escape into nature.

Very Very muddy this time of the year and due to recent rains it was very rough. Trails are not very well m marked at all but overall nice scenery.

really fun even after all the rain we had it wasn't that muddy and my 5 month puppy had no problem on this trail

beautiful area! not well marked. Take this map with you

This is a nice easy trail near Hershey. It would be great if you’re in Hershey for a readon and need a walk in the woods. Be forewarned though this trail is close to heavily used roads so sections do have traffic noise and it is pretty busy when the weather is nice. Parts are paved but still go through woods and follow a stream. If you want a little more cut off the blacktop trail and follow the nature trail loop through the woods. This is a great rainy day trail because it’s barely used then.

Well-marked, albeit buggy on a muggy day. Wait for cooler weather.

beautiful views

Great for kids and dogs. Pretty but not stunning as it’s mostly flat, lowland and among the cornfields. A creek runs a long it and is nice to jump if hot. A good flat running and biking trail. Good for a walk too!

Not bad, just every time I visit there's always muddy patches to cross. I've seen a few bald eagles around the lake as well. The only part I don't like is having to walk along the road at the end.

Nice walk in the woods. Some parts of the trail get narrow and can be harder to navigate. One of the small boardwalks was broken in one spot and my dog had trouble crossing it. There was also a lot of muddy patches to cross and a ton of bugs. Just remember the bug spray!

Mason Dixon trail is all over the place and that’s what I love about it. You go up and down and all over. Great views and good challenge. Beautiful waterfalls and just a fun trail.

A nice flat trail aside from one small hill. Very narrow pathway that is not exactly well-kept but passable. The dog and I hiked it yesterday and it was quite peaceful. The path follows the creek for most of the way and actually dead ends AT the creek. Nice rocks at the end of the trail to picnic on. At the trailhead, there is an nice little beachy area for kids/dogs to play or even walk in the creek.

We'd read many of the previous reviews and were ready for the "physical" hike. The beginning is an easy walk in the woods. When we got to the boulders the hike turned fun although we watched where we were stepping. At approx 1 mile we saw 4 very pretty (my wife doesn't agree) copperheads within 3 feet of the trail. Being from northern New England, where we don't worry about snakes, we chickened out and turned around. The trail is gorgeous so we vowed to go back in cold weather.

It was an awesome hike will definitely be back again well worth doing the whole thing

The blue trail is great--fairly level trail with parking at trail head. Some rocky spots. Trail is well marked. Appear to be used for biking as well as hiking.

Nice trail for families. Some hills but relatively easy to navigate. Well marked for the most part. Took about an hour and a half with 2 younger kids in tow.

Lots of parking and signs so you know where you're going. Trail is fun, very steep but a good workout and worth it for the views. My dogs loved it. My only advice is to please be aware that there are others trying to get photos at the top too. There's one fantastic photo spot where everyone wants to get some pics, so please don't sit down for 15 minutes while groups wait to see the view and snap their own pics.

Blue trail is a nice and easy hike, with some rocky patches. Trails are clearly marked and easy to follow. Didn’t take the connecting White Trail to the Overlook (extra .4 miles, out and back) because I had to get back home, but will definitely bring my family here for future hikes and we’ll give it a try!

Really great hike! Be very careful around the sunny areas on the rocky outcrops I saw a timber rattlesnake and two copperheads on one visit! They are usually on the rock crevices and under shady areas!!

One of my favorite Trails for sunrise
