Beautiful hike. Hardly saw anyone else on trail. A bit confusing when you get closer to the waterfall but we were able to find a nice shady spot near the water.

Great hike. Many trails, easy to get off on a different path

Very low traffic, only saw one other person. So my family and I had the waterfall to ourselves

LOVED this hike. Took about 2.5 hours round trip and it was so worth it.

This is an awesome trail for a quick hike.

Anyone giving this a bad review probably just has a bad attitude.

The falls are beautiful, and there are some great views.

Sunday afternoon was a great time to do this. I only ran into a few people.

did this hike today. very steep in places very beautiful wooded hike with the sound of the river always near and the falls at the end was amazing. well worth the hike.

Most of the 3 miles is on the paved Provo canyon trail so we just parked at the upper falls park and went from there.
There is a side trail that leads to 3 additional water falls if you're up for the adventure.

Beautiful! So so beautiful!!! But hard to find. Really should call it Hidden Falls. Wednesday I tried finding it but was confused by the map also I was thinking it was the upper part of Bridal Veil. Two different trails. So Saturday late afternoon/ early evening and after researching I was able to find the trail. Lot of people down where it is paved but very few on the trail. It is steep but doable even for a 5 year old. A lot of it is shaded. Once at the bottom of the Falls my daughters (17 and 5) and I decided to see if we could find the trail to take us up to the next part of the Falls. It was hard to find and it took my 17 climbing up part of the rock face to find the trail for us. The trail was narrow and if you are afraid of heights the bottom of the Falls is great. But the real treat is going higher. So so incredible!

I stopped doing keto and began using carbs again and the hike was way easier for me (I had a hard time on the horse flat which was rated as easy).
More for hiking rather than sightseeing/hiking.
Should actually take the "views" tag out of the details.
Mostly incline and very rocky.
If you roll your ankles a lot you should buy good hiking shoes/boots or watch where you step.
Going up took an hour and a half and around 45 minutes to get back down.

Fun hike! We went mid-day and we're grateful to have some occasional shade. I would recommend doing this hike in the morning when it is not as hot. The waterfall is definitely worth it when you get there!

Incredible views! Stunning evening hike, beautiful all around, with the perfect amount of challenge!

Good hike if you are just wanting to put some miles down.

Harder than expected, got lost for a mile even with maps, lots of cows that forced us to go around in unique ways. Otherwise, absolutely gorgeous and fun for the dogs! Was mostly in shade which was very nice. Wasn’t too much fun hiking back down using the road with no trail with cars, would recommend avoiding that.

Great trail with some nice views! The best thing about this trail is the close proximity to Provo. The rock formations are always intriguing. Enjoy the climb!

Did this in 2 days, stopping to camp at the Basin about halfway. Absolutely beautiful trail.

Pretty steep, but not bad if you hike a lot. Took the turnoff with the black rope, to see the bottom of the falls. Rock climbed, next to the falls, up to the upper falls.

Was an enjoyable few hours with my brother and his 10 year old daughter. She was a champ and handled the hike very well. She also rock climbed up the falls with us.

Packed on the weekends, so if you can do it on a weekday you'll be glad you did.

Scenery is beautiful and it's not a real long hike.

A ton of loose rock on the trail knocks off a star for me - other than that this hike was great. The waterfall is unbelievably cool and it's one of the harder 4-mile hikes around.

If you love Rocky terrain and lots or horse doodoo this is the trail for you. It's a great workout with very little to see when you get to the falls (if you can find it) not much shade and only a couple of trees to sit under. I wouldn't recommend this trail to anyone!

Great trail!

Greats hike and views!

Continuous steep climb with not a great view at the top lots of butterflies. Parts are tough to walk because of loose rocks. Shady parts goi g up in the am but all sunny on the way down. At least 1/2 mile walk to trail head.

I thought this was a pretty nice hike. We were kind of let down by the end of the trail, and there weren’t many overlooks. All in all, it was a beautiful mountain! Very long. Pack plenty of water! This area is perfect for rock climbers.

Lots of people near the bottom but as I kept going up it cleared up a lot. There are two waterfalls and it’s definitely worth it to climb up to the upper one if you can. I found a spot to set up my hammock and it was surreal.

Great trail. As the small trail to the falls can be hard to find. One hint. Around the 1.85 mile point their is a fork in the trail. Stay to the left and look for the trail break off about 20 yards up the trail.

We went with family and it was awesome! The falls and the granite rock were beautiful! It is mostly up hill all the way to the falls. Don’t miss the turn off down to the falls like we did. :) We hiked a bunch more than we needed to.

Really fun for a quick and easy hike!! The falls are so pretty. The actual “hike” off of the unpaved trail is only about 0.5 miles total. If you’re just looking to do the unpaved trail, you can actually park at Upper Falls Park and cross the bridge to get to the actual start of this hike! Otherwise you’ll be walking along the Provo River Trail for about a mile and a half until you get to the hike. If you do follow the all trails map and start on the Provo River Trail, it is an easy walk and you’ll pass Bridal Veil Falls. You can’t go wrong!!

I enjoyed taking my 3 children and my dog. They had a great time. It was a little crowded when we went which made hiking up to the falls harder. Still fun though and very pretty

Loved this hike. We went to the upper and lower falls. Both are easy to miss and not marked. We had someone show us after we missed the turn to both. The waterfall and pools were beautiful and the shade was appreciated. It was steep and hard on the way up but not terribly long. I also agree about the unleashed dogs. PLEASE leash your dog. Not all hikers like to share the trail with pets.

One of my favorite hikes ever. Lately though there are so many dogs off leash it’s become scary to hike on the trail. Dog owners, THIS IS A LEASHED TRAIL! Your “nice” dog running and barking at me is frightening. Please leash your dogs!
