Great trail! Very managebale hike with wonderful views. It was nice that it wasn’t too crowded this time of year!
The entire trail up to the falls is beautiful as you walk along the river. There is an incline most of the way there with a few steep sections. We went on a Monday that was threatening rain (it was open despite what all trails listed as the hours). We had the falls to enjoy all to ourselves and only passed a handful of other people on the trail both ways. Absolutely beautiful and really enjoyed this trail.
Great trail, and fantastic viewing platform that takes you right to the convergence of Dukes and Davis Creeks with views of several waterfalls.
I wonder how many cell phones you can fit in this bad boy?
Challenging but really enjoyable. Push yourself and it will be worth it at the top.
Great trail overall, unfortunately it was very foggy today so there wasn’t much of a view at the summit. Some mud and a few slick spots, but overall a fun and challenging hike.
Easy hike. All sidewalk.
The view was beautiful. Would not say it's super hard except for when going uphill. Though the trail is very slippery when wet so make sure you wear the proper shoes. Would reccomend but being prepared is essential as the wrong shoes might mean you can't go all the way.
Half of it are steel steps that are easy to climb, the other half is a road with a mixture of clay and large loose rock. The falls are beautiful and peaceful.
From the back of the visitor center to the top is moderate. Once you hit the road it’s fairly strenuous. But taking the stairs down is great. Overcast day but still a nice hike.
Great trial for enjoying a waterfall - very easy
Amazing hike!! Lots of trails to pick from based on experience levels. Also very steep- would not recommend regular running shoes for this one. Especially if you take the trails back down. The decline after rain can be a little intense!
Amazing!!!!
We went on a foggy day. Humidity was at peak (no pun intended). Butbthe view (or the lack of it) was breathtaking. We wouldn't have gone had we known it was going to be foggy but so glad we did. The hike is hard, constant slope all the way up. But it was worth it. Make sure you have proper shoes with grip because rains made the trail very slippery.
The falls are gorgeous. Was not at all crowded when I went on a Thursday. The trail is very similar to others in Georgia. Roots. Rocks. But worth it for the views of the falls.
It was really worth all of uphill hiking !
Beautiful trail! It’s nice because the trail is what you make it. Just walking to overlooks 1-3 aren’t strenuous at all. Recycled rubber tire trail. 4 & 5 are down a more traditional, natural trail. There are steps down to the bridge over the gorge that are great cardio. Lots of little trails and places to explore.
We had a very nice walk along the River And then on then road. Beautiful day at the park! We will be going back for more trails.
A little muddy today, but scenic!
