Beautiful place. I took a left on to a single track trail after a few hundred feet of gravel trail. It paralleled the highlighted rout above and let to the same tower lookout. Then continued on the m&m trail to Hartford rez no 6 for a swim!

Is this actually 9m?? I am struggling to see more than 6

Good little trail. Not too busy but well blazed.

Short, fun hike up the mountain to the very scenic Heublein Tower. Definitely go early to avoid crowds and leave some time to explore the Heublein Tower complex.

very quiet, scenic and easy loop. except for a very small patch which is easy but rocky. you might have to get on ur 4s at one spot

Great trail with beautiful scenery. The blue trail to the right and quite steep with a lot of rock washes. The red trail to the left is much easier with better views. The trails at the top also connect to the Quinnipiac Trails.

Beautiful place. First quarter of a mile gets your heart pumping. The rest is a lovely stroll through the woods. Views are wonderful.

Nice short hike. Lots of greens and nice views from the top. Perfect for a family with a picnic (picnic tables at the top) or for a runner looking for some elevation.

Great trail! Excellent views of the waterfall! Not well marked on the way down, but it was clear what was the trail. Definitely rocky and steep in many areas.

It has been so dry that the roaring brook is almost dried up in parts. The falls are still awesome but I am excited to return when we get a good amount of rain! I can imagine it is stunning when it’s in full force.

Definitely an amazing hike. If you’re new to trails the first .25 miles is a bit much because it’s steep but it’s really beautiful. Seeing the hueblin tower at the end is a perfect edition to the trail.

Started to the right and glad we did. it was much steeper and rockier than the other side. It was challenging hike up for sure! Better to get that out of way. That side was not well marked but the path was clearly evident so we never doubted where to go. The falls were pretty but a little underwhelming. couple of little bridge brook crossings and a cool stone fireplace made this a nice hike.

I think you have the wrong trail in the map. Millington trail is the red blazes. I know this, because I passed the green trail twice like the devil’s hopyard map says. I think it might be the green trail or blue. The trail listed which is green is the woodcutters trail and the blue it’s just blue. It’s easy to see when you look at the devil’s hopyard map they provide. Great trail I just wanted to bring attention to this and make it so others weren’t as confused as I was. It says that it is connected to the orange trail, but it goes out to the left of the map out of any crossing. Or maybe it’s labeled wrong as the upper loop of the orange trail where you go down a bit to the end of the second loop go back up and skip devil’s oven. Just fallow the red blazes after the waterfall.

Not a bad hike. Went a few years ago. The area is very pretty. A waterfall worth seeing again

Easy trail until you hike up to devils oven. Which has a big incline. Brought a dog and the dog could keep up.

Second time going here. Absolutely my favorite. It's a work out climbing up the steep inclines. We
saw tons of red spotted purple butterflies and some turkey! my Wife almost stepped on a garden snake. lol

Nice hike. No place to park and the entrance on the side of the road.

The trail is very undulating but for the most part very relaxing. Lots of foliage keeps you out of direct sun light.

definitely will return to this hidden gem, especially in the fall. the steep inclines lead to spectacular views and the trail riding along the ridge was an unexpected treat.

much easier than moderate. easy plus, maybe.

One section of trail isn't marked very well, but other than that is was a great hike. Awesome view.

The directions to the trail didn't bring us to the trail head. We pulled into the picnic area and went to the end. Go over the bridge and stay straight. As you ascend the mountain you will see the red markings. Trail was a bit muddy

Beautiful view of the lake !! Went out with my 8 and 4 yr old . They loved it . However there were some points that it was difficult to follow the trail, I think it needs better signals of the trail. At some point I thought I was lost, kept going around in circles 

Lake was beautiful! View was worth the hike!

Took the red trail up and an unmarked trail back, which I’m glad I did because the unmarked one kind of faded out in places and was pretty steep. Cool falls but I’ll probably come back in the fall/winter for a better view

Take the left trail at the first fork! It's better marked, provides better views of the falls and ruins, and isnt as steep or rocky.

this is my all time favorite place to go for a hike. LOVE it. but c'mon people... pick up your dog poop bags. Why do you even bag it if your just gonna leave it on the ground?

Very nice hike. Like a walk in an enchanted Forest. Just be careful. I went counter clockwise. If you go this way you come to the back of a trail sign mid way through the loop. At that point the markers were highly visible so I went straight only to notice a mile later I was off the loop. I doubled back and realized I should have gone left at the trail sign where the marker was less visible.
