Push through Tera! You got this! Worth it!
Lovely trail, we done it today on the 30th of Jan. It started raining just as we started it but there is decent coverage from the trees throughout it until you step out onto the areas for views. Just as we were finishing up we started meeting quite a few people on it who were just starting it (2pm) so I would suggest doing it earlier like we did. Definitely going to go back in summer when it is more dry.
Nice little hike.
Lots if view points and private.
Did this hike middle of January , with 73 year old Father in Law. Took it VERY slow for the first 10 minute steep section(careful here). Easy with shallow up’s and down’s afterwards. Great views along the water. Quite a few fallen trees from previous windstorms so plan to limbo your way through some of those. Make sure to check out Whippoorwil Point, great view and bench for a break. Sandy Cove is a nice sandy beach as well. Stop at the HOT hot spring on the way there or back. Would do again for sure.
Not as easy as it sounds, would rate it as moderate. Alot of the trail has eroded away, leaving very narrow, rocky and steep areas. slippery Rock sections on a rainy day. through the forest section the trail become narrow in places with lots of fallen trees and obstacles to maneuver. The beach is very nice, recommend for a dry day.
Extremely slippery. A woman ahead of us fell/slipped and injured her back. Beautiful beach at the end but I wouldn’t recommend this without good shoes and a steady gait.
Great little forest walk. A little muddy but nothing that should discourage you. Lots of great viewpoints.
A bit difficult trail, not very well marked, got lost several times, thanks All trails to bring us back. Not many people during christmas season. There are a few points to overlook the lake, cool.
Great winter hike if you want to avoid the snow. Some nice viewpoints along the shoreline.
Rocky start but it got better as the trail went on. I got lost a few times.. not super lost but a couple times i couldn’t find where the trail continued. I almost went in a huge circle instead of exiting. I followed a couple into the trail and it ended up being backward so maybe that had something to do with it. Overall good little hike with peekabo views. nothing like the first picture posted of all the white caps (that’s kinda why i went)
Not for big or older dogs. Couldn't get very far due to the steep (ish) rock scrambles at the beginning and had to turn around. Looks very pretty, though.
