So not exactly what I was hoping for. The trails were nice, decent quality, but god was it confusing. after the fourth time of ending up back at the start after trying to take the longest "burgandy" trail, we decided to call it a day. Following the blue and yellow trails were just as confusing. They need to remark the trails and add some extra marks as well.

Great trail! Very accessible for all ages. This was my first time visiting the park and first time walking the trails. I got lost because the trail weren't very clearly marked. I enjoyed the hike nonetheless. Since I am a first time nature walker/hiker I didn't think to bring bug spray. What a huge mistake I got eaten a live by the mosquitoes.

Easy, nice, quick trail. Short jaunt over a gravel path, then the rest is on relatively well packed sand. It's out of the way, the beach isn't nearly as busy as Virginia Beach, but it still sees plenty of traffic. Absolutely worth the trip!

Felt like a real forest experience. My dog loved it!! Only flaw is the lack of signs and we got lost several times. Need better signage/directions!

a great jungle experience, except hard to follow the makers

I love this walk. It’s so peaceful.

Beautiful, short, wooded trail. We went late morning when it was to hot to normally walk with our dogs but nice and cool on the trail.

I live in the neighborhood by the park. this park is a great escape to enjoy some time in the woods and get a good workout.

Im all for a Naturalistic walk but at a point it becomes a problem when the trails look like a hurricane came through 7 months past hurricane season. Everything is overgrown / derelict. The only other people there were 16 year old stoners on the bike jumps. Then again it fits the bill for southern VA, trashy and occupied by bums. Can't wait to get back to Colorado.

Trail was pretty cool.

Great trail! Not difficult, very enjoyable and beautiful every step of the way. Camp sites and cabin available just across the road. Beautiful state park!

First Landing Park trails, in their entirety, are great way to spend your entire day. For the most part, they're all flat trails, with the only challenge coming in their length depending on how much you prefer to walk. Be sure to pick up a park map from the trail Center. It's worth noting that there's also a parking pass fee ranging from $5 to $10 depending on the time of year.

I walked in today and did Otter Point Trail and then Molly Mitchell. I had Otter Creek all to myself and didn't even see another Person. I definitely wouldn't do any hiking in this park after a rain as a lot of it is low lying. It was easy and well maintained. Lots of places to stop and take in nature of to grab a rest.

This is a easy great trail. I have no clue why it's listed as a moderate trail. You will have to cross a ditch or two at a slight incline, but that is the biggest challenge. Bring bug spray of some sort during the summer. I have walked this trail in almost every season and they all have their rewards. You can check out my short review and pics on the Google listing or on Instagram @archangel.photography.

Easy, peaceful walkabout that soothes the soul. A botanist's dream.

Trails are great. To bad we went after a week of rain so most of them were washed out. Would definitely go back and try again on a more dry week. Lots for the family to see. My little girl loved it and had a blast.

great trail!

had a great time!

not a bad little walk to just get out of the house for a bit.

What an awesome Beach to stroll down. We went a good distance along the shoreline. Hardly anyone there. Lots of shells and horseshoe crabs. My pup had a blast playing in the water. FYI there is limited parking and it’s along the side of a road. Be prepared to get sandy. Had a great time!

I have used this trail countless times while living in Virginia Beach. It’s pretty and as described, very easy. Compared to other trails in other places, it’s lackluster. However, it is beautiful in its own way and I have a special place in my heart for it. It’s great for trail running, but just watch out for dips, rocks, tree branches (and snakes). I have taken a couple falls and some very, very bad ankle sprains because of the uneven ground on this trail. So keep your eyes peeled, but enjoy. First Landing State Park is truly a treasure for coastal Virginia.

Fun trail, a Virginia Beach classic. Plenty of bikes on the Cape Henry trail so be sure to stay to the right!

Great trail! Easy to handle for small children.

This is a small local trail for me, and excellent for walking/hiking and mountain biking. I do wish it had better markings, but that is only a minor issue.

great place for a bike ride! can get lost for hours if you want.
