Far too crowded when I visited and slightly worn. The boardwalk needs renovations and there were unattended children running amuck. It's ok for strolling but tourists have torn the place up.

Super family friendly and easy walk around these gorgeous, vibrant hot springs. Great view of Yellowstone Lake as well, definitely worth a stop.

This isn't really a hike, it's a boardwalk path. It's good, quick loop that gives you views of the lake, plus some hot springs and other thermal features. If you don't have much time in the park, this is a great spot to see a lot in one short walk. Be prepared to fight through crowds.

I'd recommend doing this and the Yellowstone Lake Overlook trail, another short hike which leaves from the same parking lot. There you can get overhead views of the lake away from the crowds.

Easy hike with great views of Yellowstone lake and geothermal features.

don't miss out on this. super easy and lot of great photo ops

Nice and easy walk with beautiful views

An easy boardwalk trail but one of my favorite “quick stops” in the park!

Heavily trafficked; takes a while to get around through the crowd, especially if you are interested in photographing the thermals. But extremely beautiful, particularly with the right lighting on a sunny day!!! You just have to put up with a lot of inconsiderate tourists. One guy actually hopped off the boardwalk, touched a pool and was continuing to walk the thin crust area! Thankfully, he eventually listened to the ranger yelling at him to get back on the boardwalk for his safety.

Not a hiking trail. This is an overlook for spotting wildlife, with some “trails” that get closer to the water. Good for dawn and dusk viewing

Easy paved walk to see wildlife in Willow Flats below. There is an unpaved trail that spurs off at the top of the hill, but I did not have time to explore it. I went early in the morning and saw moose, elk, and golden eagles. Though I did not see any, bears are supposed to frequent the area as well. The plagues dotting the trail are very informative.

Just inside South entrance- great spot to stop and get some fresh air! Not a well known spot but a must see. Not really a hike- more like a walk. Late May has lots of run off and muddy trail. Don’t miss it!

Gorgeous spot for photos.

It was so fun and pretty. Had an awesome time and definitely recommend

Beautiful easy hike underwater thermo features pretty not super crowded when I was there. Avoid times of due north or me wind

Just do it. It's beautiful, easy and underwater geysers are just plain cool. Plus---the Colors!

Unbelievable sights. Very beautiful view of Yellowstone Lake.

Unique geothermal activity by the side of the lake gives it a different appeal.

Saw Elk at this interesting group of hot springs adjacent to the Yellowstone Lake

Awesome to stand right over the hot springs from the safety of a boardwalk. The water is so clear you almost can't tell its there. Then look up for the picture purfect lake!

Easy hike/walk. Great view of Geysers

2016 great trail.

Nice basins and plenty to see, nested well against the Yellowstone Lake and some gorgeous colors and easy boardwalk make this an accommodating hike that rewards.

Windy on top!

Beautiful wildflowers and scenery

Trail doesn't lead to anything view or interest. Just a walk in the woods.

Easy trail with views of the lake as well
