Amazing trail. It’s steep so hiking boots are highly recommended. Slippery on the way down and loads of climb and stairs. My nine year old handled it like a champ amazing hike. Views are A+
Incredible hike, filmed the experience in 4k. You can view it here for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Er-uc-icarA
Pretty great view! Climbing up is like climbing 76 flights of stairs so definitely bring some water and have good shoes. Take breaks in the shade
Beautiful views! Make sure you have the right shoes and water. People were friendly and considerate.7
We went at down at around 4:30 pm on April 11. We were so glad we went that late at the day. It warm and the sun was friendly :) The walk to the Ooh Ahh point was really easy
be prepared for lots of stairs. great shade at the beginning and end.
Great views! A very steep climb out. Don't go farther than you really should!
Definitely worth it if you only have 1-2 hrs available.
Easy trail with amazing views!
Beautiful views!
Not for someone with a fear of heights.

TheReally accessible and beautiful I wish we would have gone down further. It was super crowded the day we went
Worth it
Beautiful views but I would recommend revising the difficulty level on this trail. My son slipped and very barely didn't slip completely off off the trail edge. This trail is very icy and at a downward incline at the beginning. Hiking shoes are not enough. It needs shoes that can grip on ice. we would have had a terrible ending that day, thankfully we didn't. People taking kids, please reconsider your shoe choices before you take your children with you on the trail or even for yourself, it is super icy !
Definitely.m a heavy traffic spot but really cool.
April 5th early morning. Trail was in good condition. Easy steady switchbacks. Not too back going back up. Fairly busy, families with kids.
Great trail! The views are breathtaking. Be mindful of those hiking up from Cedar Ridge.
Just far enough down that it wasn’t strenuous on the way up.
It was awesome!
The Grand Canyon, obviously, is one of a kind. This is an excellent way to get into the canyon a bit instead of just seeing it from the rim. We did this hike with our kids ages 11, 9 and 6. This hike is doable for most ages and abilities. A few areas to be extra cautious, but not too bad. Ooh Aah Point is a nice viewpoint and obvious place to turn around, but is not particularly large and got a bit crowded.
Definitely a memorable hike. We couldn’t see the canyon due to weather/fog/clouds so it was a little eerie hiking not being able to see what was over the ledge. Still quite beautiful though. Mostly incline on the hike back out.
Please don’t hike this trail if you are afraid of heights. Also we did this in March and there was plenty of mud and slush to make you a little nervous, considering the incline. But it’s an amazing memorable hike, I promise!!
