The GR221, also known as the Ruta de la Piedra en Seco is a famous long distance hike that goes from Port d'Andratx in the south west of Mallorca to Pollenca in the north west. The hike takes you through the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range offering amazing ocean views, tons of wildflower viewing opportunities, and a chance to walk along ancient cobbled paths where olive trees have been grown for centuries. The hike is usually done in 8 days but we have added an extra stage between Esporles and Deía for a total of 9 sections. There are many hostels along the way.

Very nice walk. We did a modified version from Port de Sóller also going to Cala Deia. Quite easy, there are maybe two moments where there are no markings and a small part along the main road which aren't great, but overall definitely worth a hike

Beautiful walk/hike through olive groves and past old farmhouses on a path paved with stones for most of the way. There is a short section from Deia before reaching the trailhead where the route is on the windy road shared with cars. But once on the trail it is safe and bucolic.
