Great trail if it were maintained. As of 6/10/18, there are A LOT of fallen trees across the trail that make this go from an Easy / Moderate trail to Difficult. Our 76 year old very experienced hiker Grandma made it through but it was difficult. As others said, you end at the top of the falls so not a huge view but pretty falls and nice rapids above the falls.

Had a great time on this trail! Not well marked. look for the gates and reference the map on this app. We navigated a bunch of downed trees and went through a fair share of spider webs, but the waterfall payoff was well worth it!!

Bring a trash bag and take some styrofoam out with you! After all the flooding the falls are surrounded by little bits of it. If we don’t take it out, it’ll stay there.

Great little trail! There are three or four areas that are moderately difficult to traverse but overall very relaxing. You cross three wet areas. To stay dry you have to cross some rock areas but overall very nice. Great reward at the end!

The parking lot is unimproved dirt and is medium sized so it fills quickly. (I was almost the first car in the lot when I got there and after hiking Hooker-Triple-High Falls the lot was packed and cars lined both sides of the road.) Hooker Falls Trail leads to a popular swimming area at the base of the falls and is only minutes from the parking lot. After an easy walk to view this small falls, double back, cross the bridge, and head uphill to the beautiful Triple Falls and further up to High Falls. At Triple Falls there is a long set of wooden steps that lead you to a flat rock landing between the 2nd and 3rd falls and is an excellent spot to view and photograph all three of the Triple Falls. (Don't miss this.) The viewing area has a single wire cable preventing visitors from straying too near the falls but kids could walk right under it. High Falls is a beautiful, long double cascade with a covered bridge at the top and can be easily seen from the viewing area along the trail.

(I was almost the first car in the lot when I got there and after hiking Hooker-Triple-High Falls the lot was packed and cars lined both sides of the road.) Hooker Falls is really just a first stop before doubling back and heading up to Triple Falls and High Falls, which are really the main attractions.

We did the lower trails and it’s a very short very pretty, easy hike. The falls are beautiful and there are places for some nice swimming too that seem safe!

moderate trail. fun

If you like a straightforward hike with little distractions this is for you. It was very rainy and the trail stayed fairly dry and was easy to follow. Other than a quick lake view and a quick stream view - not much to see.

very nice trail, however if you want a better view of the falls you need to take the lower falls trail. This trail takes you along the top of the falls with limited view of the falls themselves. lots of pretty views and easy trail grades. near the end the trail picks up a old railroad bed with railroad rail in numerous places. The trail does need maintenance with a fair amount of trees down but nothing that you can't navigate.

The hike is super steep so wear the right shoes. Gorgeous falls and completely worth the hike.

The trail starts with a little grass area and red gate. It lead you to the top of the falls which is beautiful, closer to the edge you can see both the falls. We got a little lost finding the wooden gate it’s easy to walk right past if you aren’t looking. Good for cardio. There was a lot of down trees throughout the trail but overall a good hike!
Update: when You get to the top of the falls close to the edge to the right is a trail that leads straight down to the bottom of the falls

a cool waterfall! the trail to get there isn't my favorite (it's all gravel roads), but the view at the end is worth it. passing lake julia and fawn lake is also nice.

short walk, nice small falls, good place for swimming and kids. lots of people there on a hot summer day because of easy access and short walk to parking.

Quick walk if you just want to see the falls.

Great views throughout the hike. Pretty easy for the most part. There are some awesome photo opportunities with the falls in the background as well!

Nice easy hike that leads to a really cool swimming hole. Unfortunately got caught in the rain, but would normally be an awesome spot to hangout!

this is an easy hike. we are talking 500 yards from parking lot to the falks. the drive down into the valley is the toughest. che c k out the tree growing out of the rock!! my 4 boys loved it!

This use to be one of my favorite waterfalls but they had it roped off at the bottom of the stairs so you couldn’t walk out and chill on the rocks anymore.

beautiful falls , not really a hike though...just walking on service roads...we hiked from hooker falls parking area past high falls over the covered bridge and down conservatory road. only disappointment was the service roads and lack of any views on it.

Awesome hike! Beautiful and easy! My husband, 3 year old son, and I completed this trail. Well worth the drive.

A lot of fun

One of the best swimming holes around!

Went with our 4 kids when it was pouring raining. Some precarious parts but it made it an adventure! Awesome hike

This is such a beautiful waterfall. Once you get to the falls find a nice rock to chill on and enjoy its peacefulness!

This is a fun and easy hike. We saw a number of multi-generational families enjoying the trail today. Definitely suggest adding the Hooker Falls hike to this loop. Hooker Falls has the best place to get in and enjoy a short but cold swim. Wear closed-toed shoes fir the hike though. The gravel is killer.

This trail was great! A little longer than expected. Also Holly Trail was closed last week so we weren’t able to get back to our car that way. We had to walk by the highway to get to the parking lot. But other than that, it was a great workout. Now that we’re more familiar with the way, we will definitely be going back!

Monday July 2nd the road was closed 700 feet from the trailhead. Huge trucks were dropping off construction vehicles and a car in front of us decided to drive past the road closure sign. They circled back around to let us know the workers told them the trail was closed due to repair.

Just wanted to give people a heads up :) Try staircase falls 10 min away
