Great hiking trail active families with younger kids.
Watch out for mountain bikers, as there are loads.
Also took the pup, loads of shade on many trails.
It was our first time and we will be back!

shaded trees and water trails. lots of trails to walk around.

Dog friendly, limited parking on weekends

Neat place to see. Didn’t get to hike too far on the trail due to excessive poison ivy. Will go back in the winter.

It was great to see the giant Cypress Tree but it was hard to determine which trails we were on and we “accidentally” found it! Mostly easy, well traveled trails; i prefer more primitive trails.

Red Bud is more of a park than a trail. My pup really enjoyed being off leash and playing at the many water access points. There are numerous small trails that lead through the woods to small access points, but be cautious. I did see a very large snake (3-4" in diameter and dark colored with faded blotch pattern). It was probably non-venomous, but I didn't stick around to find out. Stick to the main trails and cleared areas and you should be fine.

Very well maintained and the trail markings are great. A lot of benches here and there. Quite a few steps and Rocky areas but the overlooks totally make up for it. I suggest making a visit to the waterfall. it's pretty cool but not much water.

Good trail running. Plenty of shade.

Overrun with dogs, hard to enjoy the beauty.

Awesome trail for beginners. Lots of varying terrain including nice stretches of open, moderately roller coasteresqe hardpack with manageable but challenging (for begginers) semi sharp turns/switchbacks and steep rocky/rooted inclines/declines. The guide indicates a 1.3 mile trail but it's considerably more with all of the interconnected sidetrails of which their are quite a few. This will be my go to trail until I'm ready for the more technically difficult challenge of Brushy Creek (where I spent half of my time pushing my bike/or on the ground).

I had good time running this trail, it's easy to get a little turned around but there's no way to get off the trail. it's a wildlife and nature preserve so it's quite clear where the dont want you to go. The creek is pretty and it really makes you feel like you're away from the city.

Hiked all the trails forwards and backwards. As always, this trail system delivers the "outdoors hiking" goods.

Beautiful trail where forest-like nature meets ocean. Wonderful sunset viewing.

Beautiful, natural scenery. Mountain bike trails range from easy to difficult. Can be busy at times.

Great little trial. There are actual two. One is free (where the starting point is). The second is started at the bird watching center. There is an entrance fee for that one. Be on the look out for gators! :)

This information is wrong dogs are not allowed on this trail.

Great trail for running, walking or biking. We were looking for road biking. There are paved parts of this trail & gravel sections...one gravel section that needed to be walked with a road bike. Overall, it was a beautiful ride with nice shaded bits.

This is a very nice trail, even had water for some parched walkers.

Great trail, not very technical for hiking but dog and family friendly. Lots of side trails to explore and wander. Watch for mountain bikers coming around corners but everyone courteous.

Very nice hiking trails. Moderate level.

Lots of great options- I just let my dog lead the way and took several side trails. Lots of flat trails that are easy and lots of opportunity to get to the creek.

Fun mountain biking trail.

Fun place to run. Some flat, easy stuff, some technical stuff. It's not big but you can run around in loops, picking trails at random, and easily get in 4+ miles.

I absolutely love this park. We come here once a week with the puppies. Great off leash trails leading to water and everyone is respectable to each other. there's a healthy mix of cyclists, dog walkers and hikers. it can either be as easy or challenging depending on which area you hike to. we have yet to get bored here...always some place new to explore.

Great for Rollerblading if you’re into that! Bike riding is fun but watch for shifted concrete slabs. Some are risen from the land to the point to where you could bump one too hard! Other then that, a wonderful trail through the woods.

I went in not knowing what to expect. I simply wanted to enjoy a walk outdoors that was not on cement. This delivered. There are elevation changes as you walk down to a creek and back up again (oh and across the creek at a few points). I did reference the trail map on my phone so that made it much easier. I could see how simply following the signs would make for slight confusion. The waterfall was a little sparse but still pretty. I would definitely go again.

fairly easy - but a maze of trails (with the map only being at the trail head it is easy to feel lost, BUT YOU'RE NOT, just stay on the path) lots it elevation change - gorgeous waterfall and creek. Strongly recommend if you're looking for a an hour (or so) hike.
No bathrooms or trash disposal along trail so prepare - also a variety of things prohibited - so leave the picnics and furry friends at home!

The park was fun but I was expecting more from the reviews however I did not Adventure all of the trails unfortunately, and I didn't have my pup and being an off the leash park I probably would have enjoyed it more with her. the only thing is parts reaked of dog feces and there was feces bags everywhere. idk if that was the rules and park clean up picks them up but I hated that aspect. the water was not clear where I went like the images depected on some pages. However if you are local it's a fun hike.

Kristen and I hiked to this from downtown hotel to do something different. Spring had started many beautiful greens and purples and whites. Not much water in creek. Short trail to rough to run much but pretty and close to town.

This trail is great for it's variety of surfaces in a small place. I like that there are small trail loops that can be combined into a great workout while still being near your car/water.
