Beautiful steep Sandy trails thru forest covered dunes and along lakeshore.
Really great trail, there's a reason they call it a challenge!! But definitely worth it. Nice and wide for side by side walking. Watch out for the widowmaker tree roots in the sand though. Loved it!!
awesome loop, was supposed to rain but didn't! Great Sunday brunch hike.
Good in the spring time. Good for hiking shoes
Park at the state park in town and check out the state capitol and then head to the riverwalk all the way to Broadway. Great cultural tour of Nashville.
The wooded part was great, the beach part is no joke! My poor dog hates walking on rocks and there are tons of rocks unless you want to walk on the deep dry sand. Ended up cutting over to trail 9 so I could get her off the beach. Great work out for sure!
Really nice trail. You have to go out to the beach and come back through the sand to "conquer" Mount Tom.
Really enjoyed this area. Not a lot of people, nice to see some wildlife!
Beautiful, but I'm ready to see some green!
We didn’t intend to complete all three loops of the trail but it was worth it. Our 7 year old did the whole thing but the 2 and 5 year olds had to take turns in the carrier. Everyone enjoyed the scenery, it was surprising and cool to see cacti!
Great fun trail!
Very steep once you get to the lake, to the left there is an easier trail if you need to take it but I suggest going down the steep Sandune.
Beautiful
Absolutely beautiful
Challenging hike ending in the 3 dunes challenge.
Great views with some Good elevation!
Got in a tiny walk after brunch...almost a mile. Lots of sections were blocked off.
Trail 2 is open again. An incredibly easy trail, but lots of great nature sounds.
Easy walking, long boardwalk part of trail. Peaceful
Awesome trail with insane views. The incline is no joke, it is constant, but very much worth it.
