Pretty chill hike. Better ones within GNP tho.

this trail is too populated.

Took the boat from Waterton to Goat Haunt today, did Kootenai Lakes loop before hiking back. Nice, easy trail, unfortunately no moose today at the lake, just water fowl that took off right after we arrived. Note if you are planning to hike back to Waterton, the suspension bridge is out and you have to cross the river so you will get wet.

beautiful mountain and lake side views along with three different water falls. only downside is personal, in that I prefer alpine trails :)

Did this in 27mins as a trail run (hike up quick run down even quicker). Nice falls at the top.

Very easy hike. Nice views. Did this as a recovery hike after Ptarmigan tunnel + Iceberg Lake yesterday. Saw a moose (f) on the way back and some bald eagles.

Amazing views all around. We aren’t in great shape so it took us a little longer than others. There were a lot of people on the trail; views getting there and back were just as beautiful as the Hidden Lake. Mostly wooden planks and then there are gravel trails. Some snow on the boardwalks but dries out around noon.

Wonderful hike with lots of wildlife. We seen a lot of Mt Goats and long horn sheep. The flowers were just starting to bloom.

We stumbled on this trail while visiting Bigfork for the day. This was an easy trail with breathtaking views. There are multiple small trails off the main path that will lead you to boulders that overlook the river. We completed this in about 1.5 hours with multiple stops.

Hiked 9/5/18 from shuttle stop. Apparently there's a new trail, because this is a shorter route than going from the car parking. It goes through a nice clearing with mountain views, but does not go by St Mary Lake. An easy, pleasant walk with both mountain and waterfall views. Be sure to look east (away from St Mary Falls) for nice views.

an amazing hike in all directions. easy hike if you are in shape. a glacier park must do!

Relatively easy hike if you're in average shape, and the view was amazing even with a lot of smoke. Lots of wildlife along the trail, just don't crowd them. We saw mountain goats at multiple times on the trail as well as passing bighorn sheep. Get there early or take a shuttle because parking is limited and this is a popular destination.

Truly a capstone event if visiting the park. The last waterfall is an incredible walk-up 60 foot fall. On the trail, we also saw 2 moose.

Beautiful trail! Great easy hike up to the view point. We saw big horned goats on the way up which was pretty special. The wildflowers are in perfect bloom along the trail and there are still small streams coming from the mountain top.

We went later in the day, so there were not too many crowds. Easy hike, with a gradual climb.

Trail is a little boring but falls make it so worth it!

amazing hike and the view was breath taking

This is one of the prettiest trails I've done in Glacier. It's an easy trail with lots of views of the surrounding mountains and two beautiful lakes and a great waterfall. You also walk through a lovely Aspen forest. I would recommend this hike!!

This was a pretty hike through the forest. Very easy but long. There are out houses along the way which is nice too. Make sure to go up to the waterfall before the bridge! Lots of opportunities to take pictures!

lovely area, Victoria falls is beaut. unfortunately, Glacier is on fire and access is restricted right now, so be aware if u r reading this in the next couple of weeks

Nice easy trail, my dogs loved it too!

Did not realize the Many Glaciers Hotel was right on site. Memories of the Fairmont in Banff!!! A nice warm coffee stop before we headed back.

Awesome views. Route has a 2.5 mule loop option as well as the longer loops which is súper conveniente with the family.

Bears and wildlife were all over the place...very exciting!!!

Busy but never felt crowded, hiked over snowy parts in mid July, no shade, bring sunscreen, and give the mountain goats their space. Spectacular views everywhere!

Great and easy hike. I hiked solo and never felt unsafe. Also saw a moose and heard warnings of a grizzly up ahead with her two cubs. Rangers did a good job of watching and ended up closing off a few subsequent trails.

Really nice, short hike. The falls were a lot of fun. there are multiple places to sit and enjoy the view, so the fact that there were tons of people there wasn’t an issue.

This is a fun and fairly easy trail. Goes through a burn area that has now been taken over by the flowers. You still get great views of the mountains as you work your way through the woods. Keep going all the way to Virginia Falls, it is worth it! There are also several “mini-falls” between St Mary and Virginia that keep the light uphill portion entertaining. Limited parking- either take the shuttle, get there early, or be prepared to be patient for a spot.

Perfect trail for young kids, elderly or even just as a quick bit of exercise since it is easily accessible. It loops around using an old forest service road so easy to follow and plenty of room. Crosses Noisy Creek which is a lovely spot.
Perfect for nature trips for groups of kids... abundant flaura and fauna and developed forest for them to experience and explore.

Underrated trial in the area due to iceberg lake and grinnel glacier hikes. While I believe those hikes are 'better' if you've never done them, this is still an awesome trial with plenty to see and almost no elevation gain. I've done this trial a few times and have seen grizzly, moose, deer, snakes, ground squirrels and rabbits.

Great trail that isn’t too long or too taxing. But it’s definitely longer than listed. Be prepared for about 4 miles there and back if you want to see Virginia Falls from the furthest viewing location. Lots of deer were on the trail, very tame.

nice easy walk along the river! about 2/3 of the way down the trail there is a smaller trail that takes you to the river where there are big beautiful boulders you can stand on with a fantastic view.
