Pretty chill hike. Better ones within GNP tho.

Beautiful hike through the woods and picturesque riverside scenery. No wildlife sightings, and nps had a portion of the loop closed for Maintenance but still well worth the trip.
Moderately easy, relatively low elevation change.

Counterclockwise route is uphill and steep. Not outstanding views but the lake is worth it.

beautiful mountain and lake side views along with three different water falls. only downside is personal, in that I prefer alpine trails :)

Amazing views all around. We aren’t in great shape so it took us a little longer than others. There were a lot of people on the trail; views getting there and back were just as beautiful as the Hidden Lake. Mostly wooden planks and then there are gravel trails. Some snow on the boardwalks but dries out around noon.

Wonderful hike with lots of wildlife. We seen a lot of Mt Goats and long horn sheep. The flowers were just starting to bloom.

Easy, ADA accessible trail. Shaded with large cedar trees. We were not planning to stop, but decided to at the last second. Good for kids too.

Hiked 9/5/18 from shuttle stop. Apparently there's a new trail, because this is a shorter route than going from the car parking. It goes through a nice clearing with mountain views, but does not go by St Mary Lake. An easy, pleasant walk with both mountain and waterfall views. Be sure to look east (away from St Mary Falls) for nice views.

More of a stroll than a hike, there isn’t a lot to see on this trail, but it does serve a purpose.

The entire trail is boardwalk and pavement with handicap accessibility throughout. The loop winds through heavy forest, and the park has installed signs to educate walkers about trees on the trail. The entire path is covered by the forest canopy, so there is no exposure. Overall the trail is reminiscent of an eastern US nature trail.

If you have children, mobility issues, or are just tired from some other trails, this is good way to spend a half hour or so. It can help you warm up for a more strenuous hike and learn more about the trees that populate a portion of the park.

an amazing hike in all directions. easy hike if you are in shape. a glacier park must do!

Relatively easy hike if you're in average shape, and the view was amazing even with a lot of smoke. Lots of wildlife along the trail, just don't crowd them. We saw mountain goats at multiple times on the trail as well as passing bighorn sheep. Get there early or take a shuttle because parking is limited and this is a popular destination.

Truly a capstone event if visiting the park. The last waterfall is an incredible walk-up 60 foot fall. On the trail, we also saw 2 moose.

Beautiful trail! Great easy hike up to the view point. We saw big horned goats on the way up which was pretty special. The wildflowers are in perfect bloom along the trail and there are still small streams coming from the mountain top.

We went later in the day, so there were not too many crowds. Easy hike, with a gradual climb.

Trail is a little boring but falls make it so worth it!

amazing hike and the view was breath taking

This is one of the prettiest trails I've done in Glacier. It's an easy trail with lots of views of the surrounding mountains and two beautiful lakes and a great waterfall. You also walk through a lovely Aspen forest. I would recommend this hike!!

We’ve hiked this in the winter and summer. Winter was just as incredible as the summer, without the crowds.

lovely area, Victoria falls is beaut. unfortunately, Glacier is on fire and access is restricted right now, so be aware if u r reading this in the next couple of weeks

Great views. Beautiful underbrush at this time of year. Very close to water falls and St Mary’s lake. Since the pine trees were burned with no needles, there were Great Lake View’s.

Busy but never felt crowded, hiked over snowy parts in mid July, no shade, bring sunscreen, and give the mountain goats their space. Spectacular views everywhere!

Really nice, short hike. The falls were a lot of fun. there are multiple places to sit and enjoy the view, so the fact that there were tons of people there wasn’t an issue.

This is a fun and fairly easy trail. Goes through a burn area that has now been taken over by the flowers. You still get great views of the mountains as you work your way through the woods. Keep going all the way to Virginia Falls, it is worth it! There are also several “mini-falls” between St Mary and Virginia that keep the light uphill portion entertaining. Limited parking- either take the shuttle, get there early, or be prepared to be patient for a spot.

If you don't mind horse poop, this trail is one of the easiest lake accessible trails I hiked in Glacier. It is very private, not heavily trafficked, and is shaded nearly the entire way. Beautiful pine forests and plenty of birding opportunities around the lake.

Underrated trial in the area due to iceberg lake and grinnel glacier hikes. While I believe those hikes are 'better' if you've never done them, this is still an awesome trial with plenty to see and almost no elevation gain. I've done this trial a few times and have seen grizzly, moose, deer, snakes, ground squirrels and rabbits.

Great trail that isn’t too long or too taxing. But it’s definitely longer than listed. Be prepared for about 4 miles there and back if you want to see Virginia Falls from the furthest viewing location. Lots of deer were on the trail, very tame.

Hiked on 8/5/18. Would definitely recommend stopping at the first lake, Fishercap lake, on the way in. Great spot to see moose. We stopped there twice and saw moose each time feeding in the lake. Additionaly, the waterfall and views from Redrock and Fishercap lake are beautiful. Good little hike.

Loved this trail and it is a nice hike to the lookout. However if you hike down to the lake it is not easy. Narrow paths, 12 switchbacks and 675 feet decline in altitude made this hike 5 miles overall and challenging. Be prepared if you are hiking to hidden lake, it is not easy after the lookout.

Easy hike takes you up the valley along a system of creeks and small lakes. Very little elevation change, scenic waterfalls, and a very good choice for moose-spotting. We did this one on a rainy day which made for zero traffic.

Spectacular! Was there about a week ago. Many hikers jumping off of the bridge below St. Mary Falls. Hike it to the end for the Virginia waterfall. It’s worth it.
