Loved the hike and even got a bit of a workout.

Pretty challenging! A great leg work out as it gets decently steep but steady. Great view of the river.

Great loop around Stone Mountain. Not too heavily traveled on a Saturday morning. Last 3/4 mile is fairly steep and difficult.

Nice quick way to get away for a bit , only downside the noise from 78

It was rough because of the upward slant but well worth the view at the top! Going down was a lot easier than going up! It's very wooded so when you're hiking you don't see see very far ahead of you. It took my group about 45 minutes going up.

Good hike. Had maybe 3 hills that were difficult. Few paths that looked well traveled but led no where.

Gets tough in the lower half with narrow walks by the lake. Difficult for trail running in parts with all the roots. But nice view of some swans on the lake.

This is a very enjoyable hike with a nice view at the end. be prepared to climb over four or more down trees which are an approximately 2 to 3 ft obstacle. other than that it's not an extremely difficult hike.

Please keep this Trail clean and tell anyone that you recommend this field to, to do the same.

Some challenging sections, river access

Lots of shade. Trail is in rough shape- many fallen trees to go over. Took about an hour up and back with time to hangout at the top and enjoy the view. Next time we will do the three miles up three miles down road trail- although I was told part of the road has been washed out. Overall beautiful view at the top.

Well maintained trails with plenty of grade changes to keep it interesting. Hugs lake where wildlife and watersports activities are happening all the time in season.

One of the best in America.

Love this mountain!

Beautiful waterfall.

Great trail. We hiked the largest outer loop. At times it got narrow and swampy down by the lake, but most of the trail was wide and well maintained.

good for time

Good workout! We took our 3yr old along (he spends a lot of time hiking) and he enjoyed it, too.

Trail was kinda rough and saw a large snake so was nervous for the rest of hike.

Solid trail for a quick hike that’s not too far from Atlanta. Rolling hills and some narrow stretches to keep things interesting but nothing too crazy. Good for all ages.

Definitely worth the incredible view at the top. Not sure what classifies as a difficult trail, but this one had its challenges. Probably not for the faint of heart or out of shape. Didn't take long to scramble to the top. An easy down and back for a short hike with a worthwhile reward at the top.

great view but do not underestimate how difficult it is. Plan on taking several breaks on the way up. I took my dog and it was way too steep for him, too. We made it and it was well worth the effort but I think it's pretty tough even with a short distance.

I walk this loop 3-5 times a week primarily early in the morning when it is the least crowded. Stone Mountain is such a beautiful place if you like to run or walk. I have taken so many beautiful sun rise pictures. Just love this special place.❤️

Beautiful scenery along the paved trail. I went on a Sunday evening with my dog and the trail had people on it every now and then. Types of people on the trail: bikers, leisure walkers, fast pace walkers, runners. Would be a great place to take a relaxed stroll with a friend or ride your bike without having to worry about traffic.

be ready to ascend and descend some extensive trails

challenging enough to be fun :) some decent views, lots of birds. some great spots for running & leaping over roots

A completely different side of Stone Mountain Park. Get away from the crowds and enjoy the scenery. You might just forget you’re at a park.

Epic!!!! Don’t miss this incredible adventure!!!

This is an excellent hike for a lazy Sunday afternoon. The trail system is well marked and maintained. Trail follows the river for a good portion of the hike. We didn't see many people at all on the sunny Sunday afternoon.

Over 600 steps to the top of the falls, or take the 1 mile trail from the back of the visitors center.
